A white parka. I was 15 and thought I was Liam Gallagher. I even heard comments in the street like "You're in Leeds not ****ing Manchester".
I do still have that parka though. So if anyone wants to buy a Liam Gallagher style parka let me now

..I remember those, my son had one and really baggy jeans as well...hmm, I'm not sure if that was a 'skater look' thing..and he always wore band t-shirts which had to be black..never a colour...mind you, I think my brother wore flared trousers until around 2009..and they came back into fashion..his weren't though..his were the original ones he wore as a teenager...

They were called Beetle Crushers  They were unisex and they were in in the 90's for some bizarre reason, luckily I snapped out of that phase quickly enough

http://data.whicdn.com/images/21792322/a-Creepers_shoes4_thumb.jpg..I just googled them but even with the pretty colours and patterns, they don't look any better do they..I had young children in the 90s, so I guess I must have missed out on that decade of fashion because I was too exhausted to notice..it looks as though I slept through just at the right time though lol....

Black miniskirt with knee length multicoloured socks and flats..I thought I looked great
Also used to cut holes in my new jeans and stuff, and even my tops. Again, thought it looked good..must have looked like a right tramp

I wore a lot of emo/scene/goth clothes when I was in my teens including a "Bullet for my Valentine" T-shirt, a ripped shirt smothered in paper clips and a large array of checkered sweatbands that I thought "Hey, I should wear them all at the same time!!!"
I once owned a pair of these beauties

Can't think of anything I've worn that I am embarrassed about. Maybe it's less to do with my fabulous style and more to do with me having no sense of shame.

..yeah, my son did that as well James..and he wore the armbands from festivals until they fell off his wrist because they were so torn..probably about 6 months....

..for you it probably is your fabulous style, Livia... but I think for me it would be because I had no sense of shame..although the only things I really cringe at weren't my choices..it was the things that my mum would make me wear when I was younger...

I have never been a dedicated follower of fashion, makes me laugh when I see some. The 'very' collection for instance, 'skatergirl' this is fashion for women wearing clothes I did when I was a skatergirl.... only I was aged 9- 11 at the time :laugh2:

Remember when everyone went through a charity-wristband trend as well (the Livestrong and Make Poverty History ones started it)
