Had breakfast at minging hotel
Had enough and told my lift to church I would make my own way there
got on wrong bus - but managed to recover and "get me to the church on time"

Fell asleep during the service

Let several Metrolink trains go because I was told there WAS a through train on the metrolink to Bury

Got to Bury, almost got mangled by the hotel's revolving door

Left home at 7.25am

Had a fraught and crummy day at work, Didn't stop for lunch
Finished late
Went straight to Slimming World after work
Put on 1 1/2 pounds
:bawling:
Sat through the mind numbing 'image therapy'
Came home at 6.45pm
Said bye to OH as he left to go running, Got a grunt as a reply (still not forgiven me for going away at weekend)
Heated up my dinner
Ate it
Came on here!

Does it get any better than this?

ROB how did you put weight on - you were so good at the week-end!! I'd ask for a re-weigh if I was you.

Today has been hell. Still recovering from the week-end. Thought I was going to have an easy day - the boss on holiday. That was til I saw my desk - well I couldn't actually see my desk with all the messages he had left.

Then had an electric cut for an hour and a half this morning - pain lost the little work I had managed to do. Back on this afternoon - then off again at 4.00pm and told not back on til after 6. That worked out well cos it was either go home or work by candlelight. Yes you can guess it - I worked by candlelight cos I am so conscientious :hugesmile:

I put it all down to being given Room 13 at the hotel.

Never mind.

my day ? popping pills [from the Doc for my bad back] and trying to keep mobile without making it worse. It's amazing how much one can dust sitting in a 'computer' chair - it's nice and sraight and firm - and rolls around easily from one place to another.

Highlight of the day.........:joker::joker::joker:

'Sainsbury's to up you' delivered my groceries 2 hours late but free because it is a Tues ,Wed or Thurs in November !!!!!At least it is a change from work I suppose:conf:

ANyone have fun today ?????:flower:

Had an ok day today! Except for one thing that happened at lunchtime in school - sooooooo embarassing!!!
I was eating my yoghurt and turne it around to look at the ingredients (dont ask why!) and what ahppened- the whole tub poured down onto my jeans!!! Massive stain and was stinking of yoghurt!
Other than that, it ws okay - pretty relaxing, although hard to get back into a routine at school.:flower:

You wear Jeans at school wildchild. What an enlightened age we live in. What happened to the gymslips, boaters, caps and 'sensible' shoes of my childhood and indeed that of my children ?

Don't answer please..................I'm too old to take the truth !:spin2::spin2::spin2:

I'm in the Sixth form now though so we can wear our own clothes!
During years 7-11 we had to wear a biscuit brown shirt, tie, jumper, skirt down to our ankles (yeah right?!!) and a blazer but we have a few more privileges when we get to further education. It can be annoying though because I need a different outfit each day and I run out of things to wear!!

Biscuit brown?! Bet you gutted you don't get to wear that anymore!

My school uniform wasnt that bad we had to wear white shirts, navy jumpers (sky blue in yr 11), navy tie and black, navy or charcoal grey trousers/skirts!
They had an exact measurement for how high your heels could be, but they werent veery strict! Although I got told off for my skirt being too short once and it was barely above my knees!

As for my day Ive been ill, some kida ear/nose/throat thing, well actually just an ear/throat thing, my nose is fine!

Anyone go and see any fireworks yesterday?
