Any of you guys out there beard wearers? There have been times when I thought I'd grow one but after about 3 or 4 days, felt like ripping my skin off with itchiness.

Has anyone grown a full beard, and is that itchiness something you have to battle through?

Also the little random hairs that feel different to the rest, but feel heavenly when you manage to locate it and pull it out in all it's glory with a little wax attached to the bottom. How great are they?

That's a bit vicious Niamh. Not sure I like being personally attacked like that.

When I get really lazy I let it grow and it looks awful and itches and I hate it but I can't be arsed to shave it off.

Mine doesn't grow that fast, possibly a week per shave. Lucky really cos it's boring and annoying to shave

I don't shave... It's not very feminine. I wax my moustache and pluck my beard

Also, I have ginger flecks in mine, which is disturbing. If you're a full ginger, then people know what to expect from your facial hair, but I feel like I'm hiding something.

I cant stand shaving so I usually have some kind of beard growing.

This threads a bit sexist IMO. I know some women who can grow a better beard than most men. I bet there are a few on this forum.

It's the ginger gene. Your children must have red hair then? You are definitely a carrier, and 2 carriers of the ginger gene = guaranteed ginger.

One of my sisters is married to an Italian guy. He has olive skin, and covered in really thick, black hair, but they have pale, ginger daughters.

No neither of my kids are ginger, they're both blonde

I shave when it grows off my face, mine also turns a bit ginger but the sun does that to my head hair too.

I cant grow a beard! :( The most I get is a dodgy goatee, and couple of patches on my cheeks, looks hideous! :(

I have to shave regularly, my facial hair grows so quickly. Usually I just use my beard trimmer every few days, then roughly once a week I'll shave my neck and tidy up the hair on my face and sometimes I get so annoyed it at all I'll do a clean shave and start all over again. I just did a bit of a tidy up just now. Facial hair gets itchy and uncomfortable after a while, but I'm happy I can grow it... I think it would be annoying not having the option.

I have let it grow before but I looked like David De Gea. That was partly my inspiration.

Shave every other day.

I don't mind a little stubble but as it gets longer, it just makes me feel grubby.
