If they are looking at some other show of whatever nature, that is ridiculous.
They said Dancing on Ice took too much of their time,he lived in the USA and wanted more time to be there.
Why on earth then not just cut the time you give to Dancing on ice and still let it go on rather than start something new.

I still think Dancing on ice had some series left in it yet.

If there is a new show then I think maybe the new show will probably be a few weeks or 1 month instead of months? Plus there probably won't be a tour for the new show. If so then Chris would probably be in the UK less than he normally is!

With Dancing On Ice they had to pick Celebrities that auditioned. Then come up with routines for all the celebrities every week aswell as their own routines! Then right after the show they go on tour for weeks or months!

I think the falling ratings might have had something to do with it too? I think because it's their 30th Anniversary of Bolero and the ratings are not bad but not good. I think Torvill and Dean thought it would be best to end the show before they lose anymore ratings?

They said something about they will not retire but will slow down a bit!

oh God I hope its not random people auditioning to be ice skaters ala Xfactor, BGT. I read that the judge cant think his name..the olympic skater..:joker: wanted ITV to continue with DOI but without Torvill and Dean, I doubt that would work but I guess he was thinking of his pay packet.

Couldn't watch Dancing On Ice without Torvill and Dean it just would not be the same! I'm such a loyal Torvill and Dean fan that it just wouldn't be right to watch the show without them!

I hope Torvill and Dean will have another great ice skating show that is a bit like Dancing On Ice but different at the same time! :D

If they ever did do a tour for the new show (if they do have a new show) they probably wouldn't do the tour for as long as they do know! Because they want to slow down a bit! But I don't think there would be a tour for their maybe new show?

Shame they could not have done a none celebrity version of Dancing On Ice! :bawling:

Even if it meant they did less ice skating on the show each week as they want to slow down (Even through I want Torvill and Dean to ice skate every week in each series)! At least they would have still been on the show and we would still get to see them ice skate now and again on each series, and maybe get to see them both perform with the group for a minute at the end of each group performance each week!

They all could have done the show without the tour if they wanted to slow down. Also they could have just come up with some of the pro ice skaters routines, while the rest of the pro ice skaters could have come up with their own ice skating routines too! As it must add pressure coming up with something like 12 routines in 1 or 2 days each week! That would take the pressure of them both!

I really do think its such a shame and a missed opportunity :bawling:
