View Full Version : Pete: Not a deserving winner after all

I've just watched day 90 of BB7 on the net and a convo Pete had with Dickie and all I can say is I just wish I'd of voted for any other housemate than him to win. Pete and Dickie were having a convo in the bedroom about how Pete's friend from heaven spoke to him in his sleep and told him "You'll win this". Pete then told Richard "If I don't win this then my belief in heaven won't exist anymore. Now I can't diss him what so ever that he felt asthough he needed to tell someone about his friend but the conversation seeemed very calculating and manipulating towards the public votes. All I can think now is what a little s*** Pete was. His relationship with Nikki was all for the cameras and when asked why he didn't get into "Ultimate Big Brother" he explained that the producers changed their minds and started slating the show. All I can now say is "Shame on you Pete, shame on you"

He was the winner from the very start, so predictable. He was an alright housemate but i would of much preferred Richard or even Glyn

Funnily enough Glyn irritated me the first time around but since watching it back I'd of loved it if he won. Him or Aisleyne

He was the only one that realised Pete had it in the bag and had the balls to nominate him lol no one else did, apart from imogen i think but that was only because she didnt really get along with him

Exactly it! I mean Glyn played up to the cameras a lot but so does every single housemate that's ever been on. I loved Aisleyne because she told it how it is and Glyn for clocking onto Pete instead of chasing after him like every other housemate in there

Pete was a strange one. I felt that everyone treated him like a child in that house. I don't feel like we really got to know Pete, he was always being smothered by Richard and Nikki and Lea.

pete was a great winner. after watching the series I was of the opinion, pete was playing the game and was fake but after meeting him i had to eat my words.
he is one of the nicest people I have ever met, a lovely guy.
in that series he had lea, nikki, lisa, all pulling him about like rag doll.
Bennett's pre-series coaching and promotion sealed his winning credentials well before the Launch Night pratfall confirmed his Winner's status.
Subsequently, he did nothing of note to merit such distinction, being unable to hold a conversation or even play those bliddy pans properly ..... :bored:

Yeah, I didn't really like when he said that but I did like him as a housemate and he was a deserving winner. (Still wanted Ais, Dawn or Nikki to win though)
Love him or hate him, he did raise a lot of awareness with his tourettes syndrome, I didn't know about it until I watched Big Brother. There was even a programme on BBC3 last year about people with tourettes syndrome and they said the same thing about Pete.

I think Pete gets far too much hate on BB forums these days (not his fault he was the chosen one). His first month in the house he was deserving of the Winner Tag. After that he lost his way a good bit with the whole Women mothering him, banging pots and pans and some days just been down in the dumps and don't get me started on the Nikki thing.
But he still had funny moments, Falling into the pool, Drunken DR party. Only Glynn really stood a chance with him. I still think he deserved just.
Agreed, Glyn should've been the winner, best housemate ever.

But what did she do?
I never get the Aisleyne love fest BB forums members have for this woman.
She did nothing that I can remember that makes her stand out.
many of her fans have rewritten her part in BB7 as the girl who stood up to the bullies (Bull****) she never did.
She had one of the most cringeworthy moments in BB History. Her OTT crying for the HM she never picked, it was like she shot the guy or something.
Most overrated HM ever.

I'm with you on that Mate.
its the fact her fans rewrite her like she saved BB7, name some great BB moments with her (I Can't). She's given this godlike status when in fact she was a Girl who was actually nice at the start tried to act all tough but changed into a nice quiet a bit boring female HM.
I don't hate the woman just her fans who rewrite everything about her.

But she did it cause the fans wanted it JH95. I would have done the same. No excuses for Grace to throw water at her.
I taught Grace was the villain BB needed after she left the show did lose its way. No one in the house was as bitchy or nasty as her.
I always found BB7 was great up until Grace left. If she stayed the house divide would have stayed and it would have made for more gripping TV.

I know I was only joking  the throwing of water was awful, but that's what made her memorable... she was horrid, and was great entertainment, and when she left BB7 did begin to lose it's way a bit.

I agree, all this talk she stood up to Sezer and Grace and told them what for :nono:. No she didn't she never even went up to Grace when Grace came in for a while later on in the series.
That bit with that Stocky Black lad (sorry forget his name) who she voted out instead of Sprial (I bet she regretted that) and she crying was so fake and OTT that I really dislike her for a while after.

Aisleyne went back into the original Big Brother house last night, but admitted she didn't want to be there.
The blonde burst into tears after being made to kick out one of the secret housemates next door - and she didn't stop crying about it.
Cumbrian bouncer Jonathan was sent packing by 27-year-old Aisleyne in a double-shock for the contestants last night.
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/big_brother/54851/Hunky-Jon-has-gone.html?print=yes
HUNKY Jonathan was booted off the show last night as sobbing Aisleyne was forced to choose between him and Spiral.
However, tearful Aisleyne was devastated and wept uncontrollably as she hugged the beefy doorman before his eviction.
Aisleyne had enjoyed saucy kisses with both men in the secret house this week.
In the diary room she sobbed as she told Big Brother: “I can’t do it. I don’t wanna do it. I don’t know what to do. I can’t choose. This is so mean. How can I possibly do it? I love them both.” She then booted out Jonathan because he had said “he could take it on the chin”.
The weeping blonde took Spiral to the main house and rushed straight to the bathroom crying, refusing to talk to anyone.

I still find it funny that when Nikki returned to the house and mocked her for saying those words, Aisleyne could not remember saying it until BB played it back on the TV Screen during the Best Row Section of the BB7 Awards.
Like her fans, she tried to re-write history by trying to define what she said. The truth was that it was just a pile of crap that came out of her mouth.

Did you even watch the ****ing series?! That's exactly what Aisleyne did, GRACE is the one who refused to speak to her and just kept going "oh Aisleyne I'm not bothered it's my birthday don't do this" like a pussy. Grace couldn't handle any sort of confrontation and that's part of what makes villains so epic. She was just a pussy ass bitch tbh.

What a load of rubbish!
During the day, Aisleyne was talking about what she would do to Grace.
When Grace went back in for those 21 minutes, Aisleyne's first reaction was to run into the bedroom. Aisleyne then spent time talking to Pete about whether she should confront Grace.
When she did confront Grace, Grace stated that Susie is not the type of person she should hold up a mother-type figure. Aisleyne then retreated back into the bedroom muttering the word "ignorant" over and over again!
At no point was Grace fazed by Aisleyne!

During the day GRACE was the one talking about how she had a few things to say to Aisleyne. All Aisleyne said that she feels a need to defend Susie and she wants to ask why Grace threw water in her face, and that's exactly what she did. The only reason she hesitated was because it was her birthday but once she realized that she owes Grace nothing, she asked her if she apologized to Susie. Grace said that she didn't feel like she needed to because of ~information~ she found out after. The information being that Susie was a stripper, and that somehow makes her throwing water in her face valid despite that Grace already posed topless for Nuts. Then GRACE changed the subject because it was her birthday and she's a pussy, and then she only said **** about Aisleyne in the DR, even though she said that confronting Aisleyne was the exact reason she wanted to go back into the house.
Clearly she was fazed by Aisleyne, that's a joke to say otherwise. Grace was fazed by any sort of confrontation, and her return to the house just exemplified what a pussy she is. Even throwing water in Susie's face didn't make her some fierce diva because after she did so, she mumbled sorry and literally ran to the door and clung to the handle until she was let out? Aisleyne was the one who wasn't fazed by insisting on telling Grace about herself, which she did.

Aisleyne v. Grace: The Facts
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Personally I can not believe the fact people are congratulating Grace on her 21 minute farce. I understand people who dislike Aisleyne would never congratulate her on the way she behaves, but isn't praising Grace a little overboard.
I'm just going to note down things I saw happen that people could claim were positive/negative aspects of Aisleyne and Grace's behaviour during their (anti-climactic) encounter.
Aisleyne
- Had a face on her like a slapped arse.
- Has always claimed she'd confront Grace given the oppertunity. Did so in a (fairly) non agressive manner.
- Bitched about her in the bedroom afterwards.
Grace
- Has always claimed she'd confront Aisleyne given the oppertunity. Didn't.
- Used her birthday as an excuse to avoid the confrontation she so desired.
- Lied about Susie and was unapologetic over her actions.
- Embellished the truth somewhat to the HND.

grace said she would put her in her place if she was put back in the house. meaning friday, tonight wasnt a good opportunity a)since it was 21 minutes, b)it was a surprise c)Glynn was all over her.
Aisleyne was everything she said she hated about grace, when she was bitching behind her back. Grace said noone would be getting dashed, noone did she also said she would soak aisleyne but never, same can be said about aisleyne.
I fail to see what from aisleynes actions will make her win, she went and bitched behind her back because she wasnt going to get a fight.
Pete was cringing at her bitching which was quite funny

The way I saw it (from a view of not liking either of them)
Glyn was the key player in it all. From the moment Grace entered to the moment she left, he never let her out of his sights. At first I thought she was clinging to him, then I realised it was more Glyn and his apparant love of Grace.
Grace saw Aisleyne looked like she had eaten a bug, she identified Jennie as being on Aisleyne's side. A mistake, they have been arguing, and a polite move by Grace would have been a good move.
Both Grace and Aisleyne ignored each other.
Pete had been teleported to another dimension.
Glyn and Grace talked animatedly in the bedroom while Jennie and Ash talked in the kitchen. Ash was essentially talking to herself, and building to an opening line. She looked nervous. Grace was also nervous. Not so obviously, but her prancing suggested so. Glyn was doing his best to keep them apart, at no point did he bring up any animosity or hostile tension between the groups.
Pete was a million light years away by now.
Ad Break (DAMMIT!!!)
Grace and Glyn are in the garden. Ash and Jennie are in the kitchen. Grace and Glyn go into the kitchen. Ash enters into the conversation with "I hope you apologised to Susie". Oddly, Grace calmed at this point. She responded calmly and non agressively. She mentioned her 21st birthday, and also ended the discussion with her remarks about Susie and the press, possibly the stripper thing, possibly the fact she was disliked.
Aisleyne and Jennie are now in the bedroom. Pete has returned, but is lying on his bed silently, sniggering occasionally. Glyn and Grace have moved out to the garden. Jennie is fuming, she feels ignored. Aisleyne is not really listening, she appears to be debating with herself whether to have another go. Ash and Jennie continue to bitch in the bedroom. Outside, Glyn and Grace continue to recall events etc. Glyn keeps his arms around Grace, she takes his lead, and does the same.
Glyn and Grace head back to the DR.
In Summary: BOTH OF THEM BRICKED IT AND GAVE US A COMPLETE NON EVENT!!!! GRACE IGNORED THE SITUATION, ASH BITCHED IN THE BEDROOM WITH JENNIE. PETE DID SWEET NOTHING.
I will reiterate my opening point that Glyn was the key player in the situation. By not mentioning the situation to Grace, he let it fizzle out. He kept her away from Ash and Jennie.
Had Ash gone to the HND, it would have been no different. Only Grace would have given the first line, and Ash would have responded similarly to whatever allegation Grace made.
:idc:
My immediate recollection is that it was a complete anti-climax - Grace bottled it and Aisleyne was only half-hearted - Pete, of course, was hopelessly confused .....
