A group of thieves have been caught accidentally stealing a van of dead people.

The incident took place in October last year at a car park in Hoppegarten, Germany.
Three men aged between 25 and 27 broke into and made a getaway in the Mercedes Sprinter van, unaware of what was inside, reports Der Spiegel (via The Local).
They face up to four years in jail as well as a fine of €4,000 (£3,400) each.
The 12 German bodies in the coffins were on their way to be cremated but were left in a wooded area near Poznan, Poland.
