favourite smells~
- random perfumes and after shaves when i'm out
- petrol
- calpol
- banana bread
- peanut butter
- paprika
- cumin
- the beach
- cocoa butter :worship: i wish it was seen as a men's body product LOL
- coffee (hate the taste of it though)
- new clothes, and new shoes
- lavender
- matchsticks that have just gone out
- wet leaves (ty alex)
- bonfires

..oh and ginger as well...and oranges/lemons/limes..the citrus smells, but the natural ones, not candle scents etc...

maybe not a "nice" scent, but it's definitely a satisfying scent. Comforting and familiar. Sometimes I just give them a light fondle and smell my hand to make sure everything is as it should be.

same here, the mowing of the lawns on saturdays by all the "dads" in my neighborhood, just filled the air with tons of pollen and particles. I hated freshly cut grass.

(plus i felt bad for the grass :( )

Apparently smell is the biggest trigger for memories of all the senses. I read that somewhere just recently.

Yeah, especially with the weather... certain levels of humidity I feel have different smells, and I can sometimes be reminded of certain days in the past.

I feel like everyone is only saying "christmas" as a smell because I said Halloween first. :bored:

I feel like my describing a Holiday as a smell has influenced many of these other responses, but I'm not getting the credit that I deserve. :hmph:
