The housemates have been signed up for an exclusive study for food program... they'll spend the next two days taking university degrees in order to pass the shopping task.

The group are set for a shock when they awake this morning, with the House kitted out as a university campus. There are study desks, chairs and biology aids. But it's not all work, work, work - there's also a pool table in the middle of the living area.

Each housemate will become a student and take one of the degree subjects on offer; namely Languages, Communication Studies, English Literature, Drama and Anatomy.

Each student has been provided with a rucksack containing a textbook and instructions for their degree. They must study in pairs for their degree but will be tested individually tomorrow. To pass the task six out of the eight students must successfully pass their degree.

It should be easy for the likes of Richard (who knows everything) and Jennie, who reportedly has 8 'A Levels. But the revision schedule might be a struggle for academically challenged Pete (just one GCSE and proud of it) and Susie (recently adjudged least intelligent housemate).

As usual, the prize for success is a luxury food budget. But the price of failure is basic rations for the next week.

Chick pea week, anyone?

lol, I love how everyone refers to Susie as unintelligent now hehe, before the machiavellion test, everyone thought she was the smartest cookie there:spin2:

Impossible to have 8 A levels at the age of 18, so that comment about Jennie is false or misquoted. 'Richard knows everything', a meaningless comment. Suzie judged as the least bright, yes, but on an I.Q. test that has little to merit it.

Do you really think that I.Q. test is conclusive proof Suzie has the lowest I.Q.?

They're repeating themselves with this task... this one is similar to the 'geek' task - that had a learning a language part to it also.

There needs to be more imagination with the tasks - like getting the HMs to put what they learn in a task like this into practise rather than just having to parrot of facts.

The tasks they set now also seem to be passed easily - the housemates have had it pretty easy with the shopping budget.

They've passed this one.

I think some of this task was fixed to give Pete Drama and to stop Glyn or Imogen getting the Welsh language part.

It is a better task than some at least it isn't over in 5 minutes, they have to work and study to learn all the stuff they need to pass.
