TULISA is today sensationally exposed as a drug fixer who set up an £800 cocaine deal.

The former X Factor judge, 24, was caught by The Sun as she arranged for a pal to supply half an ounce of the Class A drug.
Cocky Tulisa said of the friend: “Whatever you want, he’s got it.”
Tulisa has previously claimed she is a role model for young fans and that she turned her back on drugs at 14.

X FACTOR star caught setting up secret sale with drugs pal
But during our investigation the glamorous star showed off the seedy side she hides from teenage fans — by bragging about her drug links.

The singer was taped telling undercover Sun reporters at London’s posh Nobu restaurant: “Half my phone book sells it. Of course I can get it for you.
“Half the guys I know are drug dealers. One’s a massive cocaine dealer. He’s my best friend. He’s a gangster — he’s my gangster.”
The N-Dubz star’s shock admission came before she set up an £800 cocaine deal and contrasts vividly with her carefully-crafted public image.
She has claimed she is now not only a role model for young fans but “an inspiration for Broken Britain”.

Yet she asked our reporters: “Do you want weed? I’m going to speak to this guy. Whatever you want he’s got it.” When we double checked if drugs other than cannabis were available, she replied: “Anything — cocaine.”
She said she did not take cocaine herself but confirmed she did arrange supplies for pals.
Wearing a figure-hugging black dress, the multi-millionaire casually scrolled through numbers on her mobile phone and explained how she uses a secret code to order drugs from a dealer.
She said: “We talk in lingo. Like we know what. I can’t call him and go, ‘Have you got any?’ I’ll say, ‘Hi, have you got any sweets? And he’ll be like, ‘Um, how many sweets do you want?’

“And I’ll say, ‘Oh just a nice bag of sweets.’ And he goes, ‘How big a bag?’ I’ll say maybe like ‘Four sweets’ — and I’m referring to what he knows is what. Like we have a whole lingo.”
Tulisa then showed us the text she had sent. It read: “Hi at the mo bruv, I need some sweets.” She said “white sweets” meant cocaine and “green sweets” meant cannabis.
She said: “He’ll go, ‘What kind of sweets do you want?’ And I’ll go, ‘I want the green sweets,’ or I’ll go — not for me because I don’t do it, but for my mates — I’ll go, ‘I want the white sweets,’ and then he gets it. And it’s all codes.”
Tulisa called the dealer. She asked: “Have you got anyone that can get me sweets? White sweets?”

She then told us he had abruptly ended the call and added: “He just said to me, ‘My phone’s being tapped. End of conversation’.”
Days later in a phone call we mentioned plans for a night out and asked: “You know you mentioned you might be able to get some white sweets?”
She replied: “Oh right, yeah. Definitely on the day. What I’ll do, I can definitely sort it — just got to make some more calls.” We promised to keep the deal under wraps and she laughed: “I don’t think it would sound too good if Tulisa was off finding white sweets!”
She went on: “I have a number for a very good friend of mine to call when you would like your white sweets. He will sort you out immediately.

Her TV image ... former judge Tulisa on X Factor, which earned her £1million
“You just say, ‘Hi, it’s Tulisa’s friend and I’m calling about white sweets for me.’ That’s all you have to say.” She also texted us saying: “I have the number for u to call of my good friend that will sort u out.” She sent us the phone number for part-time rapper Mike GLC.
He and Tulisa have been close for years and were recently spotted hugging tenderly after a night out. Last week he accompanied Tulisa to Marbella after she split from Newcastle footballer Danny Simpson.
When our reporter rang GLC, he said: “She said you were looking for something ain’t ya? What was the amount you wanted exactly?”
We ordered four or five “white sweets” — four or five grams of cocaine — but he said he supplied only wholesale quantities.

He said he could sell half an ounce for £800 and insisted: “It’s top of the line.” Within hours he was at our suite at Mayfair’s Dorchester hotel, pulling out a large plastic bag from a sock and sliding it across the table. He demanded £820, including a delivery charge.
He then boasted: “I’m going to Marbella with Tulisa on Friday.
“We’ve been close friends for many years. She’s like a little sister. But we go Friday.
“But what I can do for you is I’ve got my guys down here so while I’m away and you need something just contact me, yeah, so I can arrange it.”

GLC showed off photos of himself with Tulisa at a surprise birthday party she organised for him at the plush Whisky Mist club.

We sent the drugs to a lab, which found the bag weighed 13.95 grams and consisted of cocaine mixed with benzocaine and tetramisole.
Tulisa has hit it rich despite a troubled upbringing on a tough North London estate. Her mother Anne was diagnosed with psychiatric problems including bipolar disorder which led to her being sectioned when Tulisa was five.
Anne returned to the family home only for Tulisa’s father to walk out on them when she was 14. Tulisa suffered bullying and depression.

She left school without qualifications and admitted falling in with a bad crowd, taking drugs and stealing. She said: “I smoked weed when I was a kid and got into fights.” But she has since stressed her clean-cut credentials in a series of interviews orchestrated by highly-paid advisers.
Promoting her biography, Tulisa Honest, she insisted: “I stopped and I’ve never touched anything else since and never will.”

She also accepted she was a role model for young fans, saying: “Why am I a role model? Because I have been myself. I’m an inspiration for Broken Britain.”
In the book she wrote: “I didn’t want to be seen as a negative role model for young kids. I felt like I had a responsibility to behave in a certain way.”

In a book about N-Dubz she warned: “You never know how drugs will affect you. In my opinion, stay away.”

Tulisa — who pocketed £1million from her X Factor stint — has cashed in on her youth appeal. She has her own brand of perfume, called The Female Boss after her nickname, and her own clothing range aimed at teenagers.
Last year she bought a £6million five-bedroom home in Hertfordshire.
Our dossier on Tulisa and her drug contacts has been handed to the Metropolitan Police. A spokesman said: “We have received information concerning the alleged supply of illegal drugs at a central London location. We are considering the information.”

I really feel for the girl, I would say a lot of celebrities footballers have this sort of 'friend' but the media have latched onto her.

Definition of polishing a turd. I like her but she's always been too concerned with "keeping it real" and it's held her career back. Compare her with Cheryl Tweedy who fully embraced becoming a fashionista celebrity and completely removed herself from her upbringing. I'm sure lots of celebrities know drug dealers just like Tulisa does but she's evidently made some enemies in the media if they've gone to these lengths to ruin her career.

Absolutely, you see some of these A or Z-Listers who have admitted to taking drugs before or have been set up or know people who have taken them and some of them have been able to get on with their life or career without a care in the world.

Some people think it is just ''chavs'' who take drugs, there are probably loads of rich bankers etc up to their eyeballs in that kind of scene and don't give a damn.

Maybe she can turn this around and play up to her 'street' image she's been so desperate to keep a hold of. She was in this weird limbo between that and being on one of the biggest and campest TV shows in the country. You can't pretend to be cool and edgy if you're judging Rylan Clark every Saturday with Louis Walsh on your right for a few months. That's why Cheryl was perfect for the job, because Girls Aloud had built a career on being camp, that was their thing. Tulisa was playing against type. So maybe, just maybe, this scandal will do her career some good. I think she ought to go back to N-Dubz and maybe they can take the band further than they did before, with Tulisa's gained exposure and Dappy's relative solo success.

I feel sorry for her but I also think she's very stupid. She's a celebrity, she should know better than to reveal potentially damaging secrets to Joe Public. I don't know how this reporter got his information, perhaps he was befriending her for a while, but she should know to keep her party drug celebrity lifestyle strictly to celebrity friends, people who have as much at stake as her if they revealed she had drug connections.

The law regarding entrapment

http://www.lawgazette.co.uk/in-practice/practice-points/the-law-regarding-entrapment

It is established case law that, while offering significant mitigation at sentence, there is no defence of entrapment in English law (R v Sang [1980] AC 402). However, it is also considered to be an abuse of court process for agents of the state to lure citizens into committing illegal acts and then seek to prosecute them for doing so. State-created entrapment of this sort will result in a stay of proceedings.

At present, the law regarding private entrapment appears to remain as Lord Fraser described it in Sang, ‘when Eve, taxed with having eaten the forbidden fruit, replied “the serpent beguiled me”, her excuse was, at most, a plea in mitigation and not a complete defence’.

Marsh.
03-06-2013, 11:17 PM
Sooooo.... it's not really illegal but it also means entrapment can't provide evidence to prosecute with. So basically she's been exposed and nothing can be done about it. Typical.

No, the evidence may be permitted:

The problem for defendants in private entrapment cases is that, unless there is some kind of criticism to be levelled specifically at the police or the Crown Prosecution Service relating to how the evidence was obtained, then any argument regarding exclusion of evidence or an abuse of process is likely to fail.

Shame as it is a scam by hacks....
''It appears perverse that, while the law protects against the state causing citizens to commit illegal acts, it does not protect against private parties doing the same thing, where often the participation of the private ‘entrapper’ goes beyond that which would be deemed appropriate by law enforcement officers. Tulisa Contostavlos has been arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs.

The N-Dubz star, who confirmed her departure from The X Factor late last month, was at the weekend revealed to have been recorded offering to supply cocaine and cannabis to an undercover reporter from The Sun on Sunday.

The tabloid claimed that half an ounce of cocaine worth £800 changed hands following a deal that took place at London's Dorchester Hotel.

Contostavlos was arrested earlier today (June 4) by appointment along with a 35-year-old man and they are currently in custody.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed: "Officers from Westminster have arrested two people - a 35-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman - on suspicion of supplying class A drugs. They are in custody at a Central London police station."

Digital Spy has reached out to Contostavlos's publicist, who declined to comment, and her agents.

A Scotland Yard source commented on Sunday (June 2) that they expected Contostavlos to be questioned "within days" after a spokesperson for the police said they were "considering the information" presented to them.

In audio footage released by The Sun on Sunday, Contostavlos replied when asked if she could provide drugs: "Half my phone book sells it. Of course I can get it for you.

"Half the guys I know are drug dealers. One's a massive cocaine dealer. He's my best friend. He's a gangster - he's my gangster."

The 'Young' singer also claimed to have a code for drugs, referring to them as white and green "sweets".

Contostavlos stated during the taped conversation that she does not use drugs herself.

Her arrest comes on the same day as her X Factor replacement Sharon Osbourne made her debut at the first round of auditions for the new series in Glasgow.

X Factor told the BBC that Contostavlos's departure from the programme and claims of her supplying drugs "are unconnected". DS has also offered the show's representatives opportunity for further comment.

Contostavlos has received support on Twitter from a small number of her celebrity friends, with grime three-piece Platnum writing: "Fully fuming ..... We have murderes and peodophiles walking this street ......... I'm done."

The group posted a 'sad face' emoticon as news of the Female Boss singer's arrest broke, which was retweeted by Waterloo Road and Strictly Come Dancing star Chelsee Healey, who was pictured partying with Contostavlos in Marbella days before the scandal emerged.

"Forgive me for what I have done, Cause I'm young, Yeah I'm young"

I don't see how they can get that to stick tbh. She was never in the room any drugs so she didn't supply anything. Telling someone that you can get drugs then telling them to call whoever is not really a crime.

I think The Sun were desperate to trap her and had a big story, but she still mouthed off about these druggie friends she has. Silly girl.

Plenty of celebs have dabbled with drugs or know people that deal them and some of them have been able to get on with their life like nothing has happened, but because it is Tulisa who divides opinion the knives are out. I am not condoning what happened and she is not a saint either.

Tulisa getting slated for being a bad role model, that I agree with but what about the rest of these celebs who have taken drugs before or know people who do them?

To the celebs that have taken drugs and managed to get off them I admire them for that, but the hypocrisy really does annoy me and when you get people like Lindsay Lohan getting into all sorts of trouble and still has not been punished enough for her actions to make her see sense.

The Crown Prosecution Service has today authorised the Metropolitan Police Service to charge Tulisa Contostavlos, 25, with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

This charge relates to an investigation by The Sun newspaper between early March 2013 and 23 May 2013 which resulted in the supply of Class A drugs to an investigative journalist.

We have determined that there is sufficient evidence for a realistic prospect of conviction and that a prosecution is in the public interest.

– Baljit Ubhey, CPS London Chief Crown Prosecutor

Ms Contostavlos will appear before Westminster Magistrates' Court on 19 December 2013.

Former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos is to be charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

It follows a newspaper sting in which she allegedly sold cocaine to an undercover journalist.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) announced on Monday that it had authorised the Metropolitan Police to charge the former N-Dubz singer.

"This charge relates to an investigation by the Sun newspaper between early March 2013 and May 23 2013 which resulted in the supply of Class A drugs to an investigative journalist," CPS London chief Crown prosecutor Baljit Ubhey said.

"This decision to prosecute was taken in accordance with the code for Crown prosecutors.

"We have determined that there is sufficient evidence for a realistic prospect of conviction and that a prosecution is in the public interest."

Ms Contostavlos will be required to appear before Westminster Magistrates' Court on December 19.

"This defendant is now the subject of criminal proceedings and has the right to a fair trial," Mr Ubhey said.

"It is extremely important that nothing should be reported which could in any way prejudice these proceedings."

Contostavlos was initially arrested in connection with the incident with 35-year-old musician Mike GLC on June 4.

Tulisa Contostavlos has pleaded not guilty to being concerned with the supply of a Class A drug.

The 25-year-old appeared at City of Westminster Magistrates Court on Thursday morning (December 19) alongside her co-defendant Mike Coombs, 35, who also pleaded not guilty to being concerned with the supply of a Class A drug.

District Judge Howard Riddles said that the matter was too serious to be heard at the magistrates' court and would be committed to Southwark Crown Court on January 9, 2014.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) confirmed details of the charge earlier this month.
