Paris Jackson was rushed to the hospital early Wednesday morning, and sources tell us it was a suicide attempt.

Paris was taken out of her Calabasas family house on a stretcher at around 2 AM and taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

The 911 call came in at 1:27 AM. The caller said Paris had cut her wrists.

On Tuesday night ... Paris posted some cryptic tweets, including, "I wonder why tears are salty?" ... and "yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay."

We're told she's doing ok.

TMZ have published old pictures of Paris with scars on her arms....(don't publish them on here please)

9:51 AM PST: A source closely connected to Paris tells TMZ ... she has "tried this [a possible suicide attempt] in the past" but "this was far more serious. It was not a cry for help."

10:14 AM PST: A source connected to the family tells TMZ ... Paris "threw a fit" last night after she was told she couldn't go to a Marilyn Manson concert. We're told she ran into her room screaming and slammed the door.

10:14 AM PST: Debbie Rowe's lawyer, Eric George, tells TMZ: "We appreciate everyone's thoughts for Paris at this time and their respect for the family's privacy."

Terrible to hear. Hope she recovers.

Seems she has gone 'off the rails' some what. Janet called her a 'spoilt little bitch'.

Well done to the Jackson family for going against Michael's wishes. Worked out well didn't it? :idc:

He'd be 'effin ashamed if he was still here. Family is a disgrace.

Paris Jackson left a suicide note and then cut her arm with a meat cleaver

Sources with an intimate knowledge of the situation tell TMZ ... Michael Jackson's daughter called a suicide hotline and the person on the other end was alarmed enough to call 911.

Our sources say in addition to cutting her right forearm, Paris had taken a large number of Motrin pills.

We're told once Paris was taken by stretcher to an ambulance and then transported to a nearby hospital, she was placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold for 72 hours.

She received "numerous stitches" for the cut.

As for the suicide note ... we do not know what she wrote.

TMZ broke the story ... officials first responded to Paris' home in Calabasas around 1:30 AM Wednesday morning.

give me anonymity any day....peace privacy anonymity are commodities we should crave over cheap attention and greed..........just look at the people who surround the elvises and MJ's of this world....the likes of paris needs to find some solace...but in this infinite drive for materialistic craving can she and her family show the strength of character rot change their lifestyle?

If you want to look at people who survive the insanity of enormous fame and success look no further than the likes of tom jones and dear old anonymous mrs jones

Apparently in the family row before attempting suicide she said, 'I wish my Daddy was here. He understands me.' :(

Apparently Katherine may lose guardianship. Debbie Rowe may go for full custody. Hope she does. At least then she may live a normal life and be away from the blood sucking Jackson family.

I attempted suicide at 15 too. 15 is a very confusing age.

Think I had a wobble at 16, first boyfriend dumped me. Everything feels like the world is ending at that age, hope she is ok.

Wheres the family support? Or are they only interested when they stand to get paid.

Its a tragedy that someone so young tried suicide but I'm hardly ever sympathetic to the angst of filthy rich teenagers. Didn't one of her bodyguards or her entourage see how much she was hurting?

Family really aren't that bothered. They're just bothered in extorting cash out of MJ's death. Should let the poor man rest in peace. He'd be turning in his grave with how things have been since his death.

Couldn't live his life in peace and now can't even rest in peace.

It's widely known they're blood suckers. They care some what. But are definitely mainly out for what they can get.
