She shot to fame nine years ago as the bolshy Geordie lass on Big Brother 5. But now 32-year-old Michelle Bass is living a quieter life out of the spotlight, and getting ready for the next chapter of her life.

The seven-months-pregnant star says: 'Big Brother feels like it happened to someone else. I was only 23! Now I can’t wait to be a mum.'

Michelle, who’s due in mid-August, is happily settled in Hertfordshire with her husband Steve McKeown, 34. And she reveals they were grateful to fall pregnant after nearly a year of trying, saying: 'We were starting to get a bit worried so it was a relief.'

A self-confessed yo-yo dieter, Michelle admits seeing her body change hasn’t been easy. Pre-pregnancy she was a size 10-12, but after putting on 2st while pregnant, she’s now a size 16 in maternity clothes.
