Go out and look for them
Internet
Newspapers
Friends
..I think most jobs are advertised on the internet but I also think it's always good to phone people directly as well...

I'm casually looking
I dont expect to get anything for a long time though, because I know I dont put in as much effort as those who dont have a job at all. If I'm out and about, I will ask in shops and bars and such..I check the jobcentre website a few times a week. That site is beyond ridiculous though..they keep posting scam jobs where you have to ring a number that costs £1 a minute and that. And asking for foreign speaking workers. Which in itself is a pisstake really..I understand if you are in admin or something that you may have to ring abroad for clients, but noone working in the likes of a general shop..should be required to speak polish/german(the only 2 I have seen so far..) IMO.

I work in recruitment and its always worth registering your cvs with agencies. Find one that specialises in what you are looking for and send them your CV..

I used all of the above in the past when I was looking for a job. When I got my current job, they approached me.

I advertised my services, then people rang me and I sort of interviewed them to see if they were worth working for.
Long long time ago now though.

Mostly on the internet although I got my current job from an application at the job centre (I know everyone slags them off but they were actually helpful to me)

I just look online tbh, anytime I've gone into a store to ask if they're looking for applications I get looked at as if I'm absolute scum and have just killed their parents.

But yeah looking online isn't going to well either, nobody wants to employ me and I need a job because I finish college in a week for good and I don't want to be no bum </3
