I think they are overrated ,most look cheap and tacky.
..I was going to do a poll with different options but something happened..it all went terribly wrong...

I think with the likes of david beckham, rappers, rhianna, and footballers all sportings tattoos there will be many on here that like them.
but I think some make people look dirty,

I don't usually like numerous tattoos, but I'm loving them on Sallie. Just adds to the attraction.

I think they're awesome, but I feel like if you get one they need to mean something to you. I may be getting one myself in the future :amazed:

I'd never have one myself, I don't like them really, the odd one is okay but I wouldn't find them attractive.
If anyone wants theM though that is up to them obviously and some are amazing.

I personally do not like tattoo. None of my close friends (Japanese/non Japanese) have them. I have not seen their children have them either unless we can't see them.
David Beckham is regarded as a hero regardless of having so many tattoos, I must be very old fashion.
Tattoos have a distinguished royal history. It is hard to cause a stir with a tattoo these days, some reported.

I don't have one (as yet) but never say never, I would say anyone can do what they like with their own body, as long as they are happy it fine with me.

I have one on my foot that means a lot to me but I do think you should really think about tattoos before you get them as I know so many people who have ones that they regret.

Men with good tattoos if they can pull them off are literally one of my biggest turn ons.
I like them if they look nice, sometimes people just get them for no reason and it ends up looking a little tacky
I really want a sun and a moon tattoo but I don't know where :suspect:

Sleeves are ok. Random small tramp stamps or tribal ones = no
I don't think I'll ever get one, which is weird considering I love LA/Miami Ink

They can look good, but most general people who get them just look ridiculous and tacky.
I've yet to see anyone who's covered in them look good, so going too far looks like they've let a kid scribble on them. But whatever floats your boat.

I don't like too many of them but I really want one! I just can't seem to think of a good idea for one which I'd like on my body permanently :(

Cliche sayings/quotes have got to be the worst, especially when they're in a different language and the person hasn't checked their translation properly

personally, i wouldn't get one
but i don't mind them on other people if they're subtle, if they're massive and you can't see flesh then we have a problem

Beckham's tattoo misspelt
Football player David Beckham has misspelt his wife's name on his latest tattoo.
The tattoo on his left forearm is incorrect, spelling Victoria with an added "h" as Vihctoria.
The Manchester United player reportedly decided to have his wife's name in Hindi script because he felt it would be less "tacky" than having it in English.

I love tattoos and am addicted but I kind of know my limit, like I can't stand neck/hand tattoos or anything like that. No matter how well done they are they still look awful and regrettable to me. Also those horrible tribal/Polynesian sleeves that alot of "lads" are getting now... ERGH! Like Conor's arm last year - not my cuppa at all.
I have a half sleeve (arm covered from shoulder to elbow all the way around), a quote up the side of my forearm, the word "Fearless" on my wrist and an Amy Winehouse portrait tattoo. I don't regret any of them.
Sallie's sleeve and upper body tattoos are nice but her leg ones aren't very attractive imo...

I think some of them can be really sexy and they accentuate parts of your body.
I've never been sure if I wanted one though, I'm pretty happy with my body the way it is.

I like them but only really on the arms or hands. Shoulder blade (back) too.
and i love ones like this

generally i think a whole design is better than small tattoos... and I especially hate tribal ones (the random pointless black shapes). Much more of a skull/roses kinda guy.

I don't like the idea of permanently being branded so you can get my stance from there.
I do especially hate random scattered tattoos just for the sake of being there. Like the ones on Sallie's legs as opposed to her sleeve which actually flows artistically.

Always flirt with the idea of getting my chest covered, but chicken out due to looking like a typical mixed race guy who wants to be Chris Brown/Wiz/Tyga or Soulja Boy. But yeah, love them, but don't have any.

When I see a really elderly man with a tattoo, faded, green-ish grey, virtually indistinguishable as to what it's supposed to be and really quite ugly... I think of all the "cool" people covered with tattoos and have a little smile to myself.

I think they look good on girls. Personally I prefer guys not to have tattoos though. I think the male body looks better without tattoos.

Some are quite nice, most aren't. I wouldn't get one since I doubt I'd ever be happy with the end result.

Yes. My mum always says this as well. On the other hand, I suppose you can argue that you're going to get wrinkled and saggy anyway. I don't think I would ever get a tattoo. If I were to get one, it would have to be in honour of a very close friend or family member and it would have to be something subtle in meaning and in position on my body... somewhere that can't be seen by any old person, and not just the person's name or their date of birth or anything like that... perhaps a concept or an object that will always remind me of them. But I really don't think I would get one.
Some people have nice tattoos but for the most part I think they're pretty terrible. My ex had this tattooed across the chest... bizarre:
