Umm Glyn kind of brought it about

RAS
03-08-2006, 10:02 PM
and he was wrong.

British 8-ball pool, the cue-ball can go anywhere in the semi-circle not anyhwere behind the line.

Glyn was right.

At the end of the day, Glyn was right, so why should be back down, and let Mikey do what he wants.

he's such a k**b, he made a fool of himself and i think he should pay the ultimate price - by getting evicted.

Mikey was like Jekyl & Hyde in the highlights show tonight. :spin2:

On the one hand he had a pointless argument with Glyn ....

.... and on the the other he showed a really caring side when Pete was having a stressful, hard time learning his lines.

Bizarre. :spin2:

Did he really have to make such a big deal out of it?
Couldn't he have just done it Glyn's way?
Talk about stubborn.
It's all in the name of entertainment, though..

Probably not ....
.... and yes, he probably could have.

I'm by no means a 'Mikey to Win' person, but if I'd been in the same house with the same people for 11 weeks, I'd either be climbing the walls or sitting in a corner rocking back and forwards by now. :spin2:

Mikey was totally patient and understanding when Pete was having a bad time. I admired him for the way he dealt with the situation and reassured him that he'd be fine. Then later on he blew up at the silliest thing with Glyn.

Swings and roundabouts, ups and downs, all the housemates have had them after all. Mikey's are just being highlighted this week, for whatever reason. :spin2:

Just out of interest.

Who plays any where behind the line? and who plays anywhere in the semi-circle?

I'm actually quite liking Grumpy Mikey strangely enough. For the first time this series.

I always thought it had to be in the semi circle....

The grumpy Mikey does have some character. He has been so much in the background that you never knew what he thought most of the time.

Interestingly I thought Glyn was rather smug when he won the game and I didn't see him as a smug person. But, I guess, men can get quiet competitive when playing pool after a few beers. Hence all the fights in pubs with pool cues!

Exactly! I don't see why Glyn should have to succumb to Mikeys opinions all the time. Eveyone is sick of it and I suppose Glyn just had enough. Mikey overeacted and the cue was nowhere near his face!

I see none of you have sussed why Mikey is starting to get really aggressive.

He's sexually frustrated.

Anger/agression is a major symptom. Google sexual frustration symptoms to learn more!!! :)

No it's not an excuse for his behaviour, but a 'reason'

Remember Glyn has has some 'relief' hasn't he? I bet Richard has too :)

Mikey said he hadn't masturbated since he's been in the house. Maybe he should? It might have saved him from being evicted this week :) :)

It might be hard to believe, but some people might not actually find the walking plank of entertainment, entertaining.

Red Moon
03-08-2006, 11:48 PM
That walking plank of entertainment keeps a lot of us watching and posting. Without it we would have a forum of post along the lines of:

Isn't it nice how x gets on with y

z is a wonderful housemate

they are all so nice I'm not voting

The place would be rather dull and lifeless and people would stop posting and watching the show.

Do you really think Mikey is the star of the show? and keeping Big Brother going, do you really think Big brother is going to fall apart after Mikey leaves on Friday?

Mike

This week Mikey has certainly been the most entertaining in the house IMO, personally i don't want to watch a bunch of people getting along 24/7 so love it when a good argument comes our way, we need to get the likes of Imogen and Susie out this week, the only time we really talk about them two is to say how boring they both are - get them out.

GlitterEyes
03-08-2006, 11:55 PM
I thought Mikey showed himself yet again to be a complete plank. But seeing Imogen and Glyn all smug at the end also annoyed me. Mikey needs to go and take Imogen with him!

RAS
03-08-2006, 11:56 PM
I would rather get rid of Imogen defenly, but we know that aint going to happen.

But i would rather keep Suzie over Mikey. I dont really like Suzie, and yes she is boring, but i really do dislike Mikey.

I really dont think Mikey leaving will have that much of a effect. There will still be arguments, and it will still be a good show for the last 2 weeks.

Personally i can feel a Argument between Richard & Aisleyne coming on.

03-08-2006, 11:57 PM
I think it would be a loss if Mikey left, hes usually the one starting the fun, and for me the only source of entertainment in the house would be Glyn and his funny sayings

GlitterEyes
03-08-2006, 11:59 PM
With Richard winning I hope:laugh:
I think Mikey is gone and just a case of who goes with him. I would rather see Imogen go over Susie just because Susie will go next week most likely anyway.

Nope to both questons, but I would rather see the Tea lady or Imobore go before him. He can go after them two have left. It's not like I want him to win or be in the final four, just that I think other people should go before he does.

He will be up next week he has made sure of that we can get him out then.

GlitterEyes

The fact that Mikey argues thinking he comes off looking good will go against him, there has been no need at all for his arguements and more people are likely to vote him out than bother for Imogen or Susie. I think Mikey is dead cert to go just a case of who he takes with him.

He is going to go, but who with. Now it's a double eviction will Imobore go and the Tea lady stay?

I think this so called "double twist" just happened because they knew Mikey would end up going and Susie staying, this will make sure a bore goes this way. Not likely the twist myself they left it late telling us.

I wonder what the bookies will do now it's a double eviction. Pay out on both housemates going?

No, i would inmagine, the housemate with the most votes is going to be the first to leave.

As the bet is for the next eviction, they will pay out for just the first person evicted.

Shame I would like them to lose so money. They must have made so much on this years show. They have been right nearly every time.

Glyn was right!

Traditional British 8-ball pool rules, cue-ball can go any where in the semi-circle.

So yea Glyn was right, and i was glad he didn't back down. He's been stiicking up for himself against Mikey more lately.

I just googled 'pool rules' and first link is to British Pool Federation claims that the cue ball can be placed anywhere in the baulk area (except on the line) after the cue ball has been potted. Or am I reading this wrong. By the way I think Mikey is very arguementitive and intimidating and I want him to go this Friday.

This is what i got from a site i looked on:

CUE BALL IN HAND – when a player has the cue ball in hand he/she plays from any position on or within the ‘D’ and in any direction
