View Full Version : Why has Mikey Got So Much Anger This Week?

What I'd really like to know is what has caused all of Mikey's anger this week.
Excluding the Grace period when Mikey fell in with all the double standards and back stabbing he was fairly unobtrusive and reasonably inoffensive and then this week - BANG he blows up...................
He'll kick himself big time after the eviction on Friday if he is evicted and then clued up on public opinion - I think it's reasonable to say that barring the last 5 days behaviour there is no way he would have been evicted this time, even with the double....
Any ideas why he's flipped?

Everyone in there feels drained. This big brother seems to have gone on for ages..
He's just at his limit I suppose and little things are pissing him off. He has been in the house a long while and maybe he cannot tolerate it any longer.

Perhaps he wants to go and is doing all he can to make the public hate him vote him out.

because he's an a**hole at heart. Now all that testosterone (or oestrogen in Michael's case) has left the house, Mikey sees a clear space to assert an alpha male dominance. Judging by his audition reel, he never counted on any of the girls challenging his supremacy.

I think Mikey is like this for two reasons...first very simple ...because he is up for eviction and wants to come across as entertaining, winning all the arguements and saving his so called reputation. But the second reason I think has alot to do with Richard, losing Michael and Spiral hit him hard and he is starting to be less in control of staying in the house. The fact he snaps at his two closest friends Imogen and Glyn just show you how nasty he can be.

I think it's because loads of people he was close to have left and now he realises that Glyn and Imogen are slightly closer than he is to both of them. Plus people are sick of his domineering behaviour so aren't taking his: 'I have to win every argument' attitude anymore. The start of the week I thought he was alright now I won't be sad to see him go.

He has really shot himself in the foot though by acting like a prat. If he kept his temper to himself I think Susie would go easily but all his arguements may be great to watch but it will also make people vote him out.

May be he thinks that by showing character it will keep him in the house by being entertaining. The problem is he doesn't realise that entertaining housemates lose the show and get voted out.

If your going to be entertaining it cannot afford to be at others expense. Pete is entertaining and he rarely does it at others expenses. Mikey seems to think he can talk/argue his way out of anything, and his highlights really have been all fights apart from the scouse talk.

Very true... but then again Pete stopped being entertaining weeks ago. But then again maybe he realised if you are entertaining from day one to the end you are going to be found out!

I think with pete though it must be hard, I think we are all use to his torretts by now but seeing him trying to learn that play earlier made me feel for the guy. All of us have our up and down days but when he is down it must really get to him so i dont think we can blame him for that, thats part of who and how he is.

I thought he was doing really well at that.
His torretts also seems to be getting more controlled.

I think he has learn to control it by going mad, shouting, rolling on the floor, hitting his throat etc but when he was doing that play and trying to learn the lines I just felt for the guy because he was trying to hard. Everyone seems to hold his condition against him these days and I don't understand that. At first I though oh good a learning curve for everyone but I still do not understand it much, at times it does seem like he puts some of it on.
One thing about Mikey in tonights show showed him helping him learn his lines which I though ah Mikey does have a heart after all lol.

Like I said in the other thread. Mikey is angry becuase of sexual frustration.
Didn't he say he hasn't masturbated in the house recently? Glyn's staying happy 'cos he's had a few quick one's in the shower :)

I think it's purely stress due to being up for eviction. You have the upset of having been nominated by his peers. Mikey's not used to people expressing less than a liking or approval of him other than in an argument where he can shout them down and finish it himself. He has no control over the result here and it's a new sensation for him. (Remember the other time he was up wasn't due to the others nominating him but due to Jayne's actions in getting them all nominated. There were too many obvious targets then. He must have felt quite safe). He must also be aware that now that he's up in a small group he's liable to find out that he's not as popular as he thought he was. I think that matters to Mikey.
Now he's stressed out about his poplularity, people's disagreements with him are hightened and things that he normally wouldn't kick off at are major irritants to him. It's happened before in BB. It's happened before in this house. Remember "It's all me, me, me, me, me" and of course the much more shocking, "boring".
i dont like him however i think being in that house for ten weeks must streess you out with bordeom and maybe arguing is the best way to escape doing nothigngg.

It's typical alpha male syndrome.
What a cockerel.
