..I love this, I posted it in another thread this morning...the Central Station looks beautiful and so completely different with the light shining through..when the higher buildings were built and blocked it out, it almost feels like it was put under the ground....

I've only seen the place in movies and yea it's sad how the sun will never shine though those windows again. I bet there are hundreds of other places in new york deprived of natural light because of the desire to build skyward. I remember hearing someone talk about how they had their dream apartment with a great view, only to have Trump buy the land next to their apartment block, and the building he created there left them with only the sight of concrete and glass.

Anyway Central Station looks truly magical like that :love:

It's French Polynesia. I booked somebody to go there today and they had never considered it. They were going from Auckland to LA and the transit was in Tahiti for 4 hours and I said to them as they are there why not make a trip of it and stay for a week seeing as it is the middle of nowhere and the chances of going their again are slim, and they agreed. :hugesmile:

It is funny I was thinking of playing piano this morning, it would be fantastic to be able to play, because of a music thread I posted just before I opened this thread.

My childhood friends we used to go to nursery together, I met them last year I visited my home town I grown up. (very few remain the place) They said they started to learn playing piano.
They believe it wold be good for preventing dementia!:laugh2:

Few days ago, I passed St Pancras Station, there was a empty piano in the platform. Then a young man with a suitcase, stopped and started to play the piano. I had no idea the name of piece but oh, if I could play, I would have done it too!

Ammi, it is not too late to learn. I did try years ago, I just managed to learn how to use fingers. It did not last unfortunately but I wished I continued.

You never know one day. I meant was not only piano, anything...:blush:

..awww, LOL at your neighbour Sooty...a friend of mine used to have two Siamese cats, they were beautiful but I also found them quite scary..they would growl and just kind of 'stand guard' and watch you, which I found quite unnerving...I didn't tell him to take them away but I did sometimes say..oh, shall we go to a coffee shop/café and tried not to go to his house so much because I was a bit uneasy with them...

..I don't think it will do Charlie any harm to be in a cattery and realise he's not the only cat in the world and he'll probably make some friends as well/he's probably becoming far too stubborn and set in his ways....you have a lovely weekend again, ok..:love:...
