How do you deal with fly-aways?

My hair is getting longer again and i'm remembering why i hated having long hair to begin with. How do you deal with fly aways? it's so annoying when they tickle your ears and the back of your neck. And you feel like an idiot when you are in public and you can feel them flying up in the air.

What do you do to stop flyaways? do you use bobby pins? or gel? or what?

Smoothing milk or if you wanted you could use straighteners to train them into place..

I clip my hair back

It makes me mad when it's in my face

Mine just constantly looks like I have been dragged through a hedge tbh.

I cant do anything with it, so I dont bother. Takes about 2 hours to make it look reletively flat/good and I cant be arsed with that everyday
