How did the quran know the lowest land on earth is the dead sea bordering Israel?
"Alif Laam Meem, the Romans have been defeated, in the lowest of the land on earth (adnal-ardh), but after defeat they will soon be victorious. (Qur’aan 30:1-3).
This verse was revealed in 620 AD and relates to 614 battle on fight for capture of Jerusalem between the Persian empire and Roman Byzantine empire. Persians had to cross the Jordanian path to Israel. Persian's defeated the Romans and took siege of Jerusalem. However the shocking revelation of the verse says roman's were defeated near the lowest land on earth, and we all know the lowest land on earth is the dead sea situated between the borders of Jordon and Israel and the west bank. How did the Quran know dead is the lowest land on earth which was discovered around the modern times? It further says Romans will be victorious after 620 in 3 to 9 years time frame from 620. Nobody 1400 years ago knew where the lowest land on earth is. In fact only recently have People discovered that the lowest point on earth is in fact the Dead Sea Shore/ Jerusalem area using satellite technology.
The word translated as lowest has 3 meanings, deepest, lowest and land nearby, before it was translated as nearby land because at that time it was not discovered hence it wouldn't of made sense if they translated as lowest, only translated due to current understanding of the time, after the discovery we now know why this word had a scientific meaning which wasn't translated at that time but meaning of lowest was there. what do people think of this miracle?

You're right, it's an absolute miracle.
It's not as impressive as the miracle of Mohammed having sex with a child, though. I'm sure you'll agree.

I think, like everything else in the bible and the Quran - and every other holy book know to man - that's it's open to interpretation.

here is the verse in arabic فِي أَدْنَى الْأَرْضِ وَهُم مِّن بَعْدِ غَلَبِهِمْ سَيَغْلِبُونَ
If you use Google translation into English it would say lowest land if you put part of the sentence or bottom of the earth if you put the whole sentence, both same meaning. How did Prophet Muhammad an illiterate person know that lowest land on earth is situated in Israel??? which was recently discovered. Historical source says it was fought in Jerusalem but quran gives a specific location in Jerusalem. amazing

Coincidence.
The prophet who lived in arabia says the lowest land in earth in reference to the roman-persian war for siege for Jerusalem, how incredible.

I suppose it depends whether you believe it's true... or whether you believe it could have been interpreted in a number of ways. Nostradamus said a lot of things that have been interpreted as facts. Doesn't mean they necessarily are facts.

stick to the topic please. I haven't still had a logical explanation or response on how did he know the lowest land of elevation on earth is the dead sea in reference to the war historically being happened in Jerusalem

You haven't had a logical explanation because the question you posed is a matter for conjecture and interpretation. You're pretty overawed by it... good for you. Isn't that enough?

That is not logical explanation, so why did it say lowest land on earth or bottom of the earth, especially the war had taken place in Jerusalem, couldn't it just say a land, what is it referring to, we all know the dead sea is the lowest land on earth and it is situated in part of of Israel, it can't be a mere coincidence, it had to come from somewhere.

Jerusalem is way above sea level. Sounds a bit hit and miss... it was near the lowest place, but not quite IN it. But you seem very pleased with it. I'm on quite a different bus, though.

The War was about the siege of Jerusalem, the war happened in present day Israel, Quran wouldn't of referred to Jerusalem or israel as a land, it refers to it by name, but the lowland on earth was describing the a specific location in Jerusalem or Israel, and we know the lowest land on earth is part of the Israeli border. This meaning has a scientific meaning, and I still waiting for a better reply.

The Quran is bollocks and I'd happily burn a copy of it along with the bible and all the other drivel.

Why don't you be brave and shout from the roof top that you will burn the quran rather than hiding behind the computer screens.

I think you are getting a little antagonistic now, it's lovely you have your faith but you are on a big brother forum.. If you want a theological debate there are much more suitable forums for this discussion.

You do realize this one verse in the quran got over 5000 new converts to Islam right? Also there's nothing wrong with my question, its on the right section, not BB section, and no offensive post have been made.

Farhad you have to admit this is not the best place to have this debate? nobody has the knowledge to have this discussion, therefore comments you consider ignorant will only annoy or upset you.

People can say what they want, I want a logical answer.
I don't even fully understand the OP, perhaps that's why you're not getting a logical answer.
Or, more likely, you're asking questions that cannot be answered because they're based on historical evidence. If I'm understanding you correctly, you're asking how the Qu'ran could have predicted that the Dead Sea was the lowest land on Earth even though there was no way of knowing that was true? Well, there's your answer. A combination of knowledge that the Dead Sea was low lying, guesswork and presumption. I don't even know if the Dead Sea IS the lowest lying land in the world, I don't know very much about the Qu'ran and I don't know what specifically you're looking to get out of this thread?

Do what you want, I'm not bothered.
Then why are you wasting your time posing these conundrums to people who have no knowledge in the topic you are wanting a reaction to?
Do I think that specific line is phenomenal or the proof of something of biblical significance?....No.
