I've never really done this before, I've been to places around the Uk but never actually travelled it like I have everywhere else I have been. Just wondering if anyone else has?

I'm thinking of doing a mini-adventure (month long) around the country and maybe catching up with some TiBB members along the way (in a non-weird way).

Not yet, I'm going to get a working visa, hopefully there is quite a bit of work out there so I can earn some money whilst I travel.

..yeah, I'm not sure what the work situation is but I think there will probably be something..waiter/bar work or something..that's quite good for meeting people as well...my friend's son went a few years ago and has ended up living there permanently, he loves the lifestyle he has and there isn't a great deal in the UK jobwise atm...how long do you hope to stay for..?...

Ill probably stay for a year, and if I like it (which I have a good feeling I will) then hopefully permanently. I have nothing keeping me in the UK.

..yeah, it does seem like a fairly good lifestyle so I'm sure that you will like it..it is a shame that there isn't more to keep young people in the UK but I do understand why you would want to go...I hope that it lives up to expectations and that everything works out well for you...

Not in my experience and I've been all over the UK. Breathtaking scenery, wealth of history, great people... what's depressing about that?

Most depressing place I've ever been to: Bulgaria. Sorry any Bulgarians...
