Tibb Family Fortunes.

Brief Summation of format. 4 members to a team. Individual Applications though please, you will be allocated teams rather than form your own and this will give people a chance to get to know people they might not necessarily interact with much etc etc. No knowledge of each other is required. **

Depends how much response it gets as to how many rounds/duration of game.

Two 'families' will compete at a time, one will progress in the game. There's a lot of preparation for this and I will be doing surveys to get the answers, like they do on the tv show, I'll invite a good cross section of people from elsewhere so none of the questions leak, lol, so I have 100 answers for every question I am going to use...this will take a while, but I am ready and able.....

Once we are down to two families, the final will be hosted, and the 4 members of the winning family will get an award, could somebody design one?? And a banner please.... :love:

Each family will be given their questions for a round in advance by pm, I need one member of the family AT LEAST to be online for the actual challenge, the family will decide together what answers to give to the questions and compile a list e.g.

Name something you see at the beach? The team may compile a list of possible answers they think will score highly in the survey and during the game both representatives for the families will take turns to answer, scoring points as on the tv show. There will be normal rounds and double points rounds. Wrong answers will get a X, three of these and the other team steals all the points and the round is over, again same as the tv show.

** I have rethought this a bit...maybe you as a forum would prefer to make up your own teams, I have attached a poll to see what you all think/prefer. If there is going to be more interest allowing you to make up your own teams then so be it. No more than one Tibb staff member to a team however :p whichever way we do it....

Bumping this again.

I've had no formal applications yet and even assuming all 19 poll responders take part, will probably need more than that for the format.

Given that this needs a lot of preparation and its planned for early August, I need this done ASAP so I can allocate the teams and work out how many rounds to have etc.

I bumped it a few times Sal, and I hate constantly doing that, so I gave up :D

No seriously....I have decided not to be hasty and just postpone it rather than cancel it. I'll do it when there's a slot, may not be for some time though as there seems to be a fair few games booked in :D Yay!

Gives me plenty time to prepare, cos I will have to fit everything round work (I start in August)
