They may be overrated and you may not like that style of music but you need to learn to appreciate that all genres of music have good and bad parts. And to be honest half of your idols have probably drawn inspiration from them or bands like them.

God, why do people think everyone has to love and respect band music and get so pissed if otherwise. So everyone in the world has to like Nirvana now or they're ridiculous? Are you hearing the words you're saying?

I'm sure if I said Madonna's music was rubbish no one would care, when she has inspired loads of artists too. It's only certain opinions are not allowed for some reason.
