#23 - Shaun Breaking into TiBB Towers

ElProximo - 1 day - build up of infractions, insulting other members


Few people have ever seen the TiBB Towers, and all have been Admin and Mods, except one. Moderator at the time, Rory, let Shaun have his password and so Shaun did the first thing that came to mind. Logged on as Rory and went to the towers. He had a snoop around then tested the power by infracting El Proximo which led to enough points for El Proximo to be banned, lol. Now Shaun probably would have got away with this had it not been noticed that Rory's IP suddenly matched Shaun's and admin put two and two together. Needless to say Rory had his mod status revoked and Shaun got told off.

I don't mean to be gross, but if you got poo on any other part of your skin you wouldn't rub it with paper till it went away.

The only downside about toilet roll is when your finger goes through the paper whilst wiping. :bored:

I keep baby wipes in my bathroom specifically to wipe my ass after having a poo! It's much cleaner :D Especially if you are a man & have a hairy bum (or are a freakish woman)...

The rumour mill is rife lately.

I was barely online since Dec 23rd, and I came back to find that I allegedly started a rumour about Mark & Hannah.

First of all, I'd like to categorically deny that I started that rumour.

I'm not really sure myself what happened. It was all a blurry mess. But back in 2008 rumours started flying around about hannah and admin Mark flirting with each other and such. I'm not sure how much truth was in this but it resulted in many, many bannings as people kept the theories and accusations coming and it also resulted in hannah being banned for a bit until Mark let her back after things got very, very heated iirc? People think it's bad on here now, 2008 was like a bloody soap opera.

#20 - Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead!

It is my GREATEST pleasure to announce that we've permabanned Wombai. We decided upon this after she sent multiple messages to mods on top of generally being a vacuum of all that is fun and good on TiBB. I normally wouldn't make such a song and dance about it as it's unprofessional, but what the hell, Wombai was a constant pain and irritant to all that encountered her.

From constant arguing, to reporting, to killing any thread she entered; Wombai was a massive blip for TiBB. #19 - Kerry's Death

Totally numb atm so this might not make much sense....

My name is David. I have been Kerry's partner for the last 18 years. I know how much this forum and some of you folks meant to her so think it's only decent of me to let you know.

Last Friday (13th), Kerry was admitted to hospital with liver and kidney problems. On Sunday she was moved to a specialist unit in a different hospital and seemed to be making slow progress for a few days. Yesterday morning i was informed that Kerry had contracted pneumonia. She was moved in to critical care where she slowly went down hill until this afternoon we were informed there was nothing else that could be done.

Kerry was disconnected from all support and passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by many family members just after 4pm today.

That's about all i can type at the moment.

Nothing on TiBB has made me cry before but when I was at work and read this I burst in to tears, as I know a fair few others did too. Kerry was one of the newest mods to the team with MTVN and was notorious for being a bit of a firework before her mod days. She also posted often in her 4am club, which saw many a drama, and she was a regular fellow Night Owl keeping us company well into the early mornings. She was funny, witty and a really nice lady. Then she stopped posting, and at first we put it down to her new puppy (that we helped name) chewing through the computer wire again, but after a bit we became more worried. And we had reason to, she had been taken ill and passed away. The tributes from everyone on TiBB was truly wonderful and honestly one of the most touching things I have seen on here. It makes me sad writing about this so I'm not going to say anything else except.

R.I.P. Kerry, we miss you. :(

Now I can't find the actual wedding thread for this or any good comments (I assume it's been deleted). Every so often TiBB members decide it's time to have a "wedding" and not since about 2009 have we had one. No wedding could have been as spectacular as this...

.... a spectacular fail. After initially having a laugh *Kate* and Glenn who had been great friends on here seemed to suddenly find flaws with each other (just like a real life relationship, lolz) and what seemed to be a wedding on the cards looked soon to be a divorce as they suddenly hated each other and the fights broke out. It also started the whole clique/divide debates and rucus that swept through the forum earlier this year with two groups forming to war with each that brought a nightmare time to TiBB that most will agree were the most pointless arguments. Honestly, I'll never truly know what the actual trigger was, but looking back it is one of the most hilarious and petty things ever, but is the most recent event to make the Top 20 most memorable.

#17 -Harbinger/Mollie/Mike

I Love Mollie...

...but here's the deal guys, I don't know who knows or anything but Mollie doesn't exist. Mollie is actually a guy. I won't go into too many details here, but I just want to say this - I genuinely believe that this guy, Mike his name is, didn't mean to do this. Well, I think he struggled with confidence and wanted to make an internet alias. That being said, Mike has the same birthday as Mollie, the same background, the same skills in designing. It's just he's Mike, not Mollie. I don't want to speak on his behalf as I don't know, but hopefully eventually he might get the courage to come on here and speak for himself.

Yeah it sucks, especially if you were as close to Mollie as I was. But you know what, it's the internet and these things happen. Whether you want to say hello to Mike or just move on from this Mollie thing, it's your choice. But I just think it's hard for everyone right now. This is why I was sad yesterday, but I am ok now. I care a lot about this person whatever happens and this 'Bridge to Terabithia' quote says it all for me, and that's how I want to end this post.

TiBB has had many cases of members being one gender then being outed as another, but this tops the list. Harbinger first signed up as a boy, then in 2011 revealed that she was actually a girl called Mollie. All was well for a long time as Mollie got along with most, hosted some really good games and then it all went down hill when Locke had planned to meet her at a concert they were both going to when it was actually revealed that Mollie was infact Mike and had been using a girls identity from somewhere else the entire time. Now that was bad enough but it was happened with it that was the worst. I'm not going to go into full detail but some members had decided to contact Mikes family about this, how they got access to such info is still not known but it was one of the creepiest and disgusting things to have happened on TiBB, and is a reason one of the mods stepped down from their position. Fooling people into believing you are a certain gender is bad but what those other people did was worse, especially when they say they like her/him. Any hoo, this rocked the boat on TiBB at a fragile time (after the wedding/clique fiascos) and divided a lot of opinion.

#15 -Zee's Crabs

As TiBB's most beloved virgin, it came quite a shock to me this morning when I discovered that I have ****ing CRABS, ALL OVER MY LOWER HALF. I'm devastated, I've been upset all evening, I've literally no idea how this has happened but crabs I most certainly have. Going to the pharmacy tomorrow to get something for it, I don't even know what I'm supposed to ask for, I've had to tell my friend who stayed over here last night because you can catch it even just sharing a bed with someone who has it (which is how I'm assuming I caught crabs) which was just beyond embarrassing, and I don't know who else to talk to about this because it's so ****ing humiliating. I'm going to be known as the boy who caught an STD without doing the ST part. This is so unfair, some people shag and shag and shag and never catch anything; I share a bed and am now riddled with ****ing monsters. There are even some down on my ankles because I've got such hairy legs, it's repulsive, waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Imagine seeing that **** all over your legs Vicky! It's like a ****ing horror film!!! I want to vomit!

So this morning I went to the Boots round the corner from my flat and they didn't have anything but they helpfully phoned up the nearest branch to see if they had anything, which they did. I then went into this second branch of Boots and asked the girl at the till if they had any Lyclear cream, but not the head lice one. She looked at me like I was Russell Brand, and then asked her supervisor, who then asked the pharmacist, so then the entire staff behind the counter knew I needed this cream. They had some, and the supervisor asked me "is it scabies?" - mortified, I said "no, it's crab lice" and then committed suicide in front of her. It set me back £10.27 (jesus ****) and I've spent ages covering myself head to toe in this cream and am now washing absolutely everything I've pretty much laid my hands on in the last few days, I've been wiping down all the surfaces in my room etc, ****ing gross

How to get an STD without having sex? Only this could happen to Zee, who with his magnificent way of oversharing decided to inform us all about it which had most of the forum feeling sorry for him whilst pissing themselves. I think it was the great detail and way in which Zee described the whole ordeal that sealed this as one of the most memorable and funny things to occur on TiBB..

This all stems from a dream ROB experienced after a late night chat with a fellow lunatic poster on this site. She knows who she is……………………………….


Scene: A Café/Bar somewhere in Ibiza. Late Summer 2003

It’s 2am in the busy little place, which is presently somewhat dominated by a loud and merry group of friends from Munchen Gladbach.

In the centre of the bar, on a small raised podium, the resident musician sighs as he completes his haunting rendition of Rodriguez Guitar Concerto number one, and pauses to acclaim the scattered applause of the few people close enough to hear him over the cacophony of noise in the bar.

‘How about playing something gut now?’
came a shout from the back of the club.

‘Ja! How about, a David Hasselhof number?’

‘Yeah mate, you wish!’
came a disembodied voice from the other side.

Back in 2002 Romantic Old Bird (ROB) started writing stories involving her favourite BB couple, Helen and Paul. What started off as a small idea soon became a big project and TiBB got graced with these lovely, romantic and ever hopeful stories that ROb would weave together with such adoration and passion. Unfortunately she passed away a few years later, but her legacy remains for all to read and it has it's very own subforum.

#11 - Red Moon & ~kizwiz~

I'm happy to announce that the first TiBB baby was born at 10:03am on Friday 2nd November 2007. Lucy, a girl, weighed 8 pounds and 6 ounces and is fit and well as is Kiz.

For those that don't know the story Kiz and I met on TiBB nearly 2 years ago, we met in real life and fell in in love.

Sorry I didn't post this yesterday but I have been to busy playing with the baby and running backwards and forwards between the hospital and home.

Expect the first TiBB wedding at some point when we have time to get round to it.

Amongst all the drama, tears, tantrums and laughs TiBB has also had its very own romance. They met on TiBB discussing BB and then met up in real life and fell in love. They had a lovely relationship for a while and also had TiBB's first baby, a little girl called Lucy. Unfortunately things didn't work out for them and they are sadly no longer together but they are both nice people and members and this was one of TiBB's greatest stories. :love:

Stacey is now permanently banned for gross invasion of members' privacy, and using the Forum to glean personal and private information for malicious purposes.


This ban divided TiBB. Half the forum loved her, the other half despised her and she often featured in Most loved and hated lists. But after it came to light that she had been saving everyone's photos from meet the members to use against them, it left the mod and admin team no choice but to ban her permanently, which caused one of the biggest uproars that TiBB has seen.

As the history of trolls go, we have had hundreds but NONE can ever top KathyIsASexyBitch. Targetting the forum when the mods at the time were all offline she was a vile troll that we can laugh about now. Posting graphic and vile images, videos and some of the worst things said I have ever seen she managed to go on a rampage for a good few hours before finally being stopped, and then she carried on making multis until James stepped in and blocked her ISP. Something of a TiBB legend, she had her own fanclub and without a doubt is TiBB's most legendary troll. Those that missed this missed out on well, being disturbed for life.

So here's my take on all of this.

If Angie was really a woman on her deathbed, would her daughter be spending all this time updating online games? And would she change her mother's username to "AngRemembered" when she's not dead yet?

This is clearly a troll situation in my opinion.

I think it's a sick and twisted game someone is playing and I feel bad for the people on here who have been suckered in to believing that there is genuinely a terminally ill person behind it.

I know I won't be popular for posting this opinion, but bear in mind that it is an opinion and one which I'm entitled to, so don't bother lecturing me about respect, decency etc.

And, also don't bother telling me how bad I will feel when I'm proved wrong, because even if I am wrong with my theory, I won't feel anything because it's all font on a screen to me.

Of all the members to pass away this was the most controversial. Angiebabe had announced she had cancer and that wouldn't be living for much longer. Now back in the day, TiBB was rife with bitches and gossip and conspirators etc. But this news divided the forum massively. Some believed her and others did not and made sure they aired their views about it. Over the months Angie was deteriorating and then finally passed away, yet still some members refused to believe that this was nothing more than a clever ploy by a troll.

I believed, and I liked Angie, she was a sweet lady and I hope she is happy where she is now. R.I.P.

Hi,

Please stop the threads about a) Stropz's ban and b) Your 'strikes'.
As I have mentioned before our decision at the moment is final, and the countless threads aren't going to do anything except potentially put off new members and create a bad atmopshere on the forum.

Any new threads on these topics I'm going to move to the deleted forum, and the people (you know who you are) who keep creating the new threads will get a warning if it carries on.

We know you are disapointed with her ban, but we gave her many chances, a lot of the time we even bypassed things she said as not to give her automatic week long bans.

There's only two weeks left of Big Brother, let's not ruin the forum excitment and atmosphere in this time, thanks :tongue:

No ban on TiBB has been as epic as this one. Stropz (now knows as lily) was permabanned and the carnage that followed was huge. TiBB members took to various campaigns, arguments, insults and spamming to get her ban lifted, which resulted in many of those members being banned and forcing Mark to step in and try stop them. Eventually (a couple of years later) they allowed her back.

April fools day on TiBB. Normally you get the odd thread of stories to try and fool people but this year James decided to take us all by surprise and put on a setting that switched all our avatars to somebody else's each time we refreshed or posted. For the first time in a long time the forum actually all had a laugh and it was such a great night with everyone in really good spirits. By far one the best things to have happened on TiBB. :love:

The thing about Angiebabe, and I think the reason why so many people were suspicious, was that she registered on the forum and almost immediately announced she was ill. People are naturally suspicious about any grand claim; and while she said early on that she had joined the forum to while away the hours she had to spend in bed all day, some of us weren't convinced because we'd already been through members being exposed for lying about themselves to manipulate the forum en masse...

It was a combination of bad timing (the forum being very distrusting) and a little bit too much honesty early on... I mean to put it into context - if I was a new member and signed up and told everyone I had crabs and I had no idea how I got them - it was all a true story, of course, but people would be inclined to not believe me or call me an attention seeker because they wouldn't have known who I was as a person and would suspect I was trolling. It was the same with the Angie situation. I didn't believe her story either, though I don't think I ever really publicly said so on the forum. It was only when we were informed of her passing by her daughter and the subsequent lack of activity beyond her daughter using the account occasionally that I started to believe it; and I believe a couple of forum members attended (Christina? Loukas? I can't remember) which added some weight to the story... but yeah, I think we reserve the right as a community to doubt any tall tales that are introduced to us in the beginning... We've been through it so many times now with members lying about their age, gender and background that it's become routine now to spot liars early on. Sometimes you just get a vibe.

Anyway, Angie was a big part of the forum while she was here and although I didn't have much to do with her and my forum relationship with her was soured by my suspicions, I do think her presence is missed on here.

Dear TiBB,

Tonight is the last night that our Ben (Ukturtle) has on here before he goes away on his travels to New Zealand (I know I didn't know he was going travelling either! ha2) and it's time to say goodbye to him!

So this thread is our chance to give him a good send off! Please feel free to post in here anything that you like to help celebrate Ben's time on here as I think we can agree that he's been a great member and will definitely be missed!

Ben. About 2 or 3 weeks ago, in a series of PMs exchanged between Ammi, Marc, Niamh and Livia, I came up with the idea to put something together that you can have a quick glimpse at on your journeys should you ever feel yourself missing our tender touches.

I PMed around 50 active users and got in touch with a handful of oldies to put together this video - wishing you luck and looking back on some fun times over the past 4 years. I'd like to thank everyone who replied with a message for me to include, or provided me with an idea.

Remember the time that dick ukturtle left? trolololol. Now usually when people leave TiBB it's because they are having a hissy fit, delete their avatar and sig and then storm off for like a day. But this time around it was me leaving to go travel another country, New Zealand. Never before had the forum pulled together to create such a wonderful tribute for someone leaving, and so many people got involved. It was one of the nicest things I think the collective forum has ever done. So although it was my leaving, it is memorable for the fact that you lot came together and did such a lovely thing. Shows what a nice place we can be at times. :love:
