Why/why not?
I don't think I could ever forgive a cheat, guess I wont truly know until it happens though.

Would depend on the scenario.

Thankfully it's not something I've had to deal with (although I have my suspicions about my ex) hhhmmmm would I? I don't know, it would depend on the the situation, it would be very hard to get trust back again
I've been cheated on in every relationship I've ever had bar one.
And yes I have forgiven.. We were like 16 at the time and we're both 37 now and I trust him 100% now

I think you'd want to go back to them because you love them so much but you'll probably be wondering what they're doing all the time.I dread ever being put in that position

Yeah, I don't think I'd ever be able to forgive an actual affair though because that involves so much more lying and deception

No.. 15
On and off though tbh.. We split up when he went away to college (actually we were 17) and he came home one weekend with a love bite :nono: He moved in with the biting girl and I went and spread my legs, whoops I mean wings a bit.. Then when we were 20 we got back together for a couple of years and then I met someone else.. Eventually when we were 25 we got back together again, got a mortgage, had 2 kids and now we're getting married!
There's been ups and downs obviously but deep down I knew he was the 1 :)

I think it'd be rare enough to actually stay with your b/f from when you're that young. I know I wouldn't have been ready to settle down with someone at that age. It was probably good you took a break for a bit

Aww I feel daft now! Explain it to me!

Yeah, I think so too.. I had some really ****ty boyfriends tbh and I think they all made me realise how compatible Dave and I actually are
I know people think we're strange, but we never ever argue.. We're completely on the same wavelength and have only had 1 fight in the last 12 years. Don't get me wrong, sometimes I just feel like stabbing him but its usually down to my hormones and not anything he's actually done :)

Honestly thinking about it, I dont even think it would bother me too much. I would be pissed off but I dont think I would be as upset as others would be.

A guy walks into a bar. He asks the bartender, "Do you have any helicopter flavored crisps?" The bartender shakes his head and says, "No, we only have plain."

My last partner cheated on me twice, and I foolishly forgave her.
I'm pathetic when I'm in love. She was a terrible girlfriend.
..it depends on the circumstances, who it is, how you feel about each other etc..I don't think you can say a definate yes or no until it happens to you..
No I probably wouldn't forgive a cheat tbh.
I met my current partner when I was 15 and we have been together since then (I'm 31 now) and he has never cheated on me nor have I cheated on him but before I met him I was with someone else for about a year and a half too and he did cheat but we were both really young so I suppose a serious relationship was a bit too much at that age anyway, once I found out he cheated on me I done the same to him and that went on like tit for tat for a couple of months before we called it day.
Bit of a life story there but there you go LOL

I'm a bit cynical of most men anyways and that would just push me over the edge.

I'm always amazed at people who've stayed with their b/f/g/f from that age. I'm just judging by myself of course But I was 21 before I even stayed with someone for longer than 4 months

It totally depends on the circumstances. If he did it while we were not getting along, and didn't do anything that jeopardized our relationship in any other way, i could forgive him. I'd probably even give him permission to do it if i felt that we weren't on the same page. As long as it was just sexual, I wouldn't have a huge problem with it.
If he was falling in love with someone else, then I would have a big problem with that.

No I would not
No, it happened to me once and I was so hurt by it, it ruined my life for a while, it was all I could think about and what could I have done to have stopped it from happening. It took me a long time to really believe that I wasn't at fault in any way, which is stupid, because of course it wasn't my fault... I've been single ever since then, it's been almost 2 years now and I'm only just feeling ready to get into a relationship again. Being cheated on is horrible - especially when the other person is having an affair. It makes you feel worthless.
