[Ecudar has found a hidden microphone inside
its London embassy where the WikiLeaks founder
Julian Assange is living, and will disclose on
Wednesday who controls the device,
its foreign minister said.
Ricardo Patino said the microphone was found
inside the office of the Ecuadorean ambassador
to the UK, Ana Alban, at the time of a visit to the
embassy by Patino to meet Assange on 16 June.
Assange lives and works in a different room
within the embassy.
The Foreign Office in London declined to comment
immediately on the allegation and
David Cameron's spokesman said he did not comment
on security issues.]

If the UK was the only country pissed off that Ecuador - that well-known bastion of Human Rights and civil liberty - is harbouring a fugitive, and if I thought MI5 were a bunch of amateurs, then I might agree with you. As it is... no.

Could be Service persons like plumbers fitting
a Spare Shower in there
one could have fitted a bug in the main room.

Why is Ecuador acting like babies about it? so they found it, throw it away. They don't need to make a big deal about it. Do you think the UK or the US make a HUGE deal out of every time they find a bug in their offices?

South American countries are very immature when it comes to world affairs.
