As far as I know DS is a forum owned by some big media corporation, so I'm not surprised that it's a strict place.

I got banned from there years ago. Don't even remember the reason. I went to register on there a few weeks ago and I received an email saying something along the lines of 'sorry you've been banned from this PC'.

They are like a little closed knit community, although that goes for most forums on the Internet I suppose.

Blimey - the other day this website (TIBB) went down for many hours (much of the day). It became so frustrating that I checked on DS to see if anybody had posted about TIBB being down. Someone had, so I thought I'd add a comment but to do that I had to register with DS and applied via the usual manner and to wait for an email to confirm that I had registered. Before I did this I checked on here and (hooray) TIBB was back up and running. That was a close shave as DS nearly had a new member and having read what F.K had to say, I'm kinda glad I didn't.

I was banned for life last year after I called a poster a bit thick for thinking Aaron was genuine (I didn't like Aaron BTW) I got an infraction and when I complained, I found out the OP was a mod and I got barred for life after telling her she was taking life to seriously. The mods on DS are very fickle and up their own arses.

I dunno,the only thing I can think of is that certain people who I may have rubbed up the wrong way in the past eagerly hit the alert button as they do over there.

The mods over there have members who are their friends and get away with stuff normal users just don't, it's run really badly. I got banned for when I called a mod pathetic when they said they hoped I got aids.

Really? Its a proper job too over there..the mods get paid for their work (confirmed this morning). Seems ridiculous that they can do that. You would think they would be more professional given that its a real job.

I have been banned from ds on 2 occasions, and both of them life bans, now the first ban, was my own fault, I created a second account, as my original account, I was fed up with it, as I was being stalked all the time by FM, bringing up my posting history

Now this ban, from Tue 18 Mar 2014, this takes the biscuit

Now Im also a member of smeggys forum, now I see Smeggy is censored here, unlike DS, the word Smeggy is censored, and on Smeggy the 2 members now banned called Pinkteddy, and spotify, these tow guys now have there own web site/forum

Now on ds they had posted a thread, Can I sue xxx xxx, which I bumped from last Nov, I also mentioned the smeggys forum, now someone accused me of being pinkteddy

so Im banned for being unconstructive, and my comments were provocative or inflammatory so the thread was deleted
