If so or not, why?

Not particularly. I find it a bit odd being 'proud' of where you happened to be born really.

I dont really think about it to be honest. I quite enjoy living in England and feel somewhat patriotic when we do well in sports and music but otherwise I dont think "Yo Im Jordan and Im a proud British man!" :pipe:

Not particularly :idc:
Obvs I'm not British. Not particularly patriotic about being from the US. We have nice TV shows I suppose. Other than that I would say no.

I'm proud to be British. I don't think I've ever asked myself the question and here I am trying to work it out.
I don't know if it's just something I've grown up believing in. I like a lot of sport and so my pride is often tested as I watch the international games.
I like to travel too, so when ever I'm away and get talking with locals, I'm always overjoyed at telling them about my country. Also as much as I love to travel, I sure as hell look forward to returning home.

Very proud. Wouldn't want to be any other nationality. I do plan on emigrating sooner rather than later, but I will always consider myself British.

Oh and I will always be British, never English. England doesn't exists to me, nor Scotland Wales or NI. At the most, they're football teams.

I don't think of myself as being proud, but I always feel it whenever a foreigner says something good about here. It's part of who I am.

Yes, it's a great honour to be from the UK

I get the feeling what was 'great' about the British is diluting, not due to any external factors, but there isn't the pride I feel there once was.

I used to be very proud, but to be perfectly honest, Britain is going to crap, leaving nothing to be proud of.

Absolutely, because we are literally the capital country of the world, and in ethical ways one of the most forward.

Not at all. The only thing I really like about this country, off the top of my head at least, is the crap weather (no, seriously).

Yes they were the days
I don't know if I'm proud to be British, but I'm happy I was born in this country, it's not the best country ever but it sure as hell isn't the worst

Absolutely proud and no reason not to be but i do despair of the spoilt brats that dont appreciate what they have and also of the dimwits that confuse pride in nationality with any bad connotations.

This is a great country. You compare it to a lot of the world, you don't realise just how good it is here. Our troubles are minute to a lot countries.
The one thing I really dislike about Britain is the dreary attitude that likes to make out we have it so hard here. It's nonsense.

Happy to be born and live here but I wouldn't say I'm proud since I find patriotism a dangerous concept.
I think of myself as Scottish and yes, I am a very proud Scot
I realise though that I am British too and think GB is a pretty fantastic part of the world.. I think a lot of people fail to see how lucky we are.

There is a lot to complain about in this country that's for sure, but I do feel compared to a lot of the rest of the world we have it good here and for that I feel fortunate and proud also.
I also feel like even though the Scots, Welsh and Northern Irish like to pretend they don't like us English, they love us really!!

Spoken like a true Brit. We're always seen as thinking the Americans are strange for being so patriotic.

Does the stereotypical British man carry a flag? :conf:
I thought it was a top hat, umbrella and said things like "Old chap".

Haha don't worry I never expect you to start waving the St George's flag when we are competing in the world cup!! :joker:
It'd be nice to be able to wave a flag during the World Cup ... Scotland are terrible

A bit. I'd rather live here than anywhere else, our country has many great institutions - the BBC, the NHS, the Royals. I'm glad to live here and not somewhere like North Korea and in that sense I'm proud to be British. Scotland want independence though so how long will the UK last? I think even though we are unified every country has rivalry for example the Welsh,Scottish and NI hate the English and we hate all of them.. In a nice way. Will be funny to see Scotland on their arse once they get independence.
