:bored: Most irritating insects ever. I dunno if they exist in England or elsewhere in the world, but they're generally out by leafy areas or out in the countryside in Scotland. My friend was covered in bites all over his body after he went hill walking at the weekend, just reminded me of how much I hate them. Anyone have any horror stories?

Midges have to be the most pointless type of insect ever. I used to live near the countryside, so I grew up running into the shadows with my arms spinning :joker:

They're a pestilence, there's nothing more frustrating than having to pass through a cloud of midges knowing that you're going to be eaten alive :bored:

Kinda like mosquitos, blood sucking creatures. And don't get me started on ticks either :bored:

They sit and hover under a tree in our garden like a little menacing cloud of doom. Arseholes.

..my dad used to have a thing about anything that bit/stung..he had an allergy to bites so it was always much worse for him and understandable but he really did lose all sense of rational thinking when we went camping in Scotland, I think he actually dreamt/had nightmares about them because we all woke up to him shouting one night and he was chasing the midges down a hill, it all got very personal...we had to come back home early for his sanity...
