High Tension ( one of the goriest ones i've seen with a pretty good twist as well)
Martyrs ( Bit weird but it's different then the usual horror movies)
Funny Games (Michael Pitt is amazing in that, a rare 10/10 performance)


and If you've seen Silent Hill then watch Silent Hill Revolution, it got pretty average reviews compared to the first one but i thought it was on Par

I watched it all the time when I was little, then went years without watching it and watched it again at age 20 and was horrified at how violent and disturbing it is. I don't know why it didn't terrify me as a child.

It started off really creepy and promising, but got a bit silly towards the end. Basically the kid is in a coma of sorts, but creepy paranormal stuff is happening because of it.

If you want creepy you could do worse than giving The Others a go, its only 12 rated but only one of a handful of films that has genuinely made me jump out of my skin over the past 20 years.

If you want gore there is only one choice - cannibal holocaust, or if you can stomach it, a serbian film.

If you want ghosts - paranormal activity 1

Or you could go old school and watch Nightmare on Elm St

Wrong Turn 6' Now Filming in Bulgaria!

Fox Home Entertainment quietly begun production on Wrong Turn 6, yet another direct to VOD/DVD sequel to the slasher franchise that keeps to the backwoods.

Sadie Katz, pictured in House of Bad, has been cast in the lead role in the sixth installment of the Wrong Turn franchise, now shooting in Bulgaria, sources tell Bloody Disgusting.

“I’m honored and humbled to play a role in franchise so loved by so many horror fans,” said Katz. “I can promise fans will get exactly what they’ve been craving!”

Katz succeeds former Wrong Turn heroines like Eliza Dushku, Erica Leershen, and Tenika Davis.

Katz’s other credits include Scorned, which she also co-wrote, and the upcoming 13 Girls.

Wrong Turn 6 was written by Frank H.Woodward.
