I know the Olympics and Paralympics were fantastic and our medal haul was remarkable, added to the whole Bradley wiggins tour de france etc

But this summer has also been epic....possibly even moreso

the british taffs sorry welsh lions sorry british and irish lions rolled over aussie in a classic......

andy murray finally nailed Wimbledon for the first british guy since fred perry in pre war Britain......

Then you have England looking nailed on to maintain the ashes...

in golf Justin rose won his first major and westwood joint leads the Open (Jamie Donaldson only 5 behind)...

and froome looks set to take Bradley wiggins tour de france title....havent followed the athletics....

been pretty epic so far

I agree.. But last year was one of the most memorable summers for me. The weather was crap, but we had the Euros (which I had the pleasure of watching in Turkey) then Wimbledon, then the best Olympics ever.. Oh and the jubilee added to the feel good factor too :)

just as good so far, the world champs next month will decide if there will any massive british success for athletics but we had finished 3rd easily in the European team champs behind Germany and Russia which wasn't expected but like you've said Golf, Tennis, Rugby and Cricket and Cycling this year is having great success

It's gonna be a great summer if Hull FC bring home the challenge cup on Saturday, against the mighty Wigan Warriors.

I can't wait, this weeks gonna drag like mad

Wembley, Wembley
We're the famous Hull FC, and we're off to Wembley

Yes they did, it was a right let down of day, pi*sed it down none stop

Neither team played that well, but Wigan still well deserved to win it, but they were there for the taking, unfortunately we didn't turn up and produced a very poor performance on the big day.

So it was a terrible spectacle as a game, and very wet

But the coach trip there and back was a good laugh and i got rat arsed

Here you go LK, you can gloat at the team I love getting beat, in here

I really don't think you'll bother me though, most of my friends are Hull KR friends, so i've pretty much heard it all before

Don't worry mate Bailey and co will win the Super league crown in your honour

I wouldn't bet against The Rhinos, their a team full of champion players, who know what it takes to win the super league title, I think Warrington Wolves will be their big dangers.

But don't rule out The mighty Hull FC of shaking up the play offs

1. United back as the Champions of England(as it should be).

2. Everything else pales in comparison.

England Under-21's deserve an honourable mention. Following the tradition of the senior side in being a bag of s-hit.
