YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done David.

I am so so so so pleased he has won.

I think he really deserved it, he performed brilliantly tonight.

He really looks as though he can't believe it.

I've always liked Sinead as well though and I hope she does really well in the future too.

OK, I know what I said: Sinead, Lemar, David, in that order but tonight I surprised myself and voted for David!!

Congratulations, David and, yes, I'll be buying your single.

WELL DONE DAVID

I was torn between David & Sinead and really didn't mind which one of them won (although it would have been nice if Sinead had done it - girl power!!!).

The both performed so well tonight and the voting, in the end, was very close considering 6.9m votes were received.

I'm sure Sinead will get a record deal and she thoroughly deserves it. Let's hope David isn't at the mercy of record execs, has a chance to prove himself further as a songwriter, and releases more original material.

Well done to them both.

CONGRATULATIONS DAVID!!!!!!!! He did well tonight, as did Sinead and Lemar! They all deserved to be in the final and i'm VERY happy with the winner and, even though they lost, i'm sure we will be seeing Sinead and Lemar again soon
AGAIN WELL DONE TO DAVID!!! WELL DESERVED!!!!:hello::thumbs:

A well deserved win, I thought.

I must say that I liked the song Sinead wrote as well. Not sure about her outfit though. They made her look like Darth Vader!

It's nice we all have different views on here, but no aggro!

I liked all the finalists, and wasn't at all horrified that David won. His enthusiasm was infectious, and I think he probably needed to win more than the other two. I think his voice will improve more as it mellows with age....

However, I think the real stars of fame academy will be Ainslie, Lemar and Sinead - possibly.

:hello: :hello: :hello: Well done David! :hello: :hello: :hello:

What a fantastic final it was - all three sang their hearts out, and showed that they truly deserved their places in the final three.

I'm sure Sinead will be snapped up VERY soon by a record company - she really is an amazing singer and her song 'Breakdown' is stunning. We'll hear a lot more from her, no doubt about it.

But David definitely raised his game when it really mattered - his performance of 'I Don't Want to Talk About It' was faultless, and his delight at hearing that 'Living The Lie' would be released as a single in January was a joy to see. I love the song, and will definitely be buying it when it's released.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in 'Fame Academy' - it took a while for me to get into the programme, but I ended up being absolutely hooked on it.

Hubby and I got totally tranxfixed with Fame Academy in the last few weeks and even more so when we realised we could go interactive and watch them more or less 24/7!!

Sinead, Malachi, David and yes, even the crazy Ainslie, were our favourites.

I think all of them are going to go far - GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL....... :dazzler:

(Hubby has hopefully bought me the album for Christmas).

I had a staff-do on Friday night and so had to hide from the result 8until Saturady morning  when I watched it on Video.
I enjoyed it and thought that David was a worthy winner.:hello::hello::hello:
I agree with the comment about Sinead's outfit - a bit dark and harsh lipstick:spin2: I thought that David clinched the title when they both sang 'That's why they call it the blues...'
