Anybody else out there who just cannot stand them? I hate being near one as it makes me feel on edge, there's one in my kitchen right now and I'm gonna wait until it finds the opened back door!

I run away from them, when I was like 10 when I went in the garden during summer I used to a wear a massive coat so it couldn't sting me :D

I don't mind bees, it is wasps that frighten me, as I am allergic to their stings, I was stung by one once and ended up in hospital. Bastards.

Bees are fine, it's wasps that are the viscous little ****ers.

Yeah, wasps are the worst, a Bee will only sting you if it senses being trapped,it has had it after it does.
Whereas a wasp can sting loads of times so are far more aggressive things.

Oh horse flies... I forgot about those little buggers. Only ever been bitten by one of them once and it reeeeeeeeally hurt. So yes, Hell's Angels or maybe Millwall supporters.

I'm not sure what a horse fly is... I've heard of them before (favourite news story I've read in years was Mollie from The Saturdays having to miss gigs because she was bitten on the leg by a horse fly..........) but what makes them so bad?

I don't mind bees out in the open but I freak out if they're in the house. Wasps are horrible.

Zee, it's a big fly that looks like a horse.

Honest...

When they are around they will openly seek you out and bite you. They are seriously vicious things, and the bite really really hurts.

I've never in my life been bitten or stung by a wasp or bee.

Bees are fine honestly, they will cause you no harm whatsoever.

I don't particularly like wasps myself, I tolerate them but I don't know what I would do If I ever come up against a hornet.

I always run away from either bees or wasps . horrible things but thankfully I've never been stung before and plan on keeping it that way.

I've been stung by a wasp from time to time. Didn't like it.

I always keep a Wasp-eze spray at home.

I had the biggest fear of bees ever since watching an episode of neighbours when I was a kid and Lucy Robinson got stung on the neck and Clive the doctor had to an emergency tracheotomy on the kitchen table using a kitchen knife and a biro!!! I actually got stung for the first time ever last year when a bee was having a sleep on my washing and didn't like me grabbing him. It hurt like hell but.....I survived!
