I hope this is not true, but I've just been looking on sky news actives news paper headlines and the Sunday People had said that Jade had blinded herself in one eye with an accident with a pair of scissors. I hope they've got it wrong.:conf:

Oh my god. I hope this isn't true. I only have sight in one eye and I would hate to think this is true. Let's hope if it is something can be done for her.

The poor girl!!!!!

That sounds absolutely horrific!

I hope she's ok and doesn't lose the sight in that eye.

GET WELL SOON JADE!

It doesn't say too much about the nature of the injury, but between the lines, I think statements like 'she's had to wear an eye patch since' suggest she has been seen and is now at home. If you poke yourself in the eye, you could pierce the eye completely I suppose, but it's unlikely. I think we would have heard a lot more and she would still be in hospital if she had.

This makes me think it might be pretty minor. Let's hope so.

Here's more news about Jade in panto from the Sunday Mail. Apparently Jade fell over.

It doesn't mention how serious the eye injury was but she no longer has to wear the patch.

Knowing the media in this country, I can very much believe that - we have all seen it happen with Paul and Helen stories.:flower:
