What would you rather be?
I'd rather be cold because i can easily warm up - it's soo much harder to cool down.
Us brits always complain either way, but do we have a preference?
You?

Yeah, cold for those same reasons.
But I prefer the cooler months anyway.

cold without a doubt. I hate being too hot as it stops you from sleeping and doing lots of things. I actually love the winter and autumn months :love:.

Depends
Hot if I'm out, cold if I'm in. Unfortunately nature likes to the work the opposite...

Definitely cold for me, it is really hard to cool down when it is as hot as it has been lately.

I like both. I wouldn't want to live permanently in a place where there was no change of season.

Hot, because:
1. I never want to go out when it's cold and I love going out;
2. I never buy winter clothes;
3. I feel fat wearing winter clothes;
4. My skin looks better when it's a bit tanned.

I hate to be cold, I seem to feel the cold more than most for some reason.

Cold, the I can wrap up and no one will recognise when I'm stalking them.
I'd rather be hot than cold. I lived in a flat with poor insulation for a year and I can tell you that the winter months (so about 6 months from October - March) were the most awful months of my life in terms of my living situation; I had to sleep between a duvet, a blanket and a hot water bottle at my feet, sometimes with a jumper on too and I would STILL shiver throughout the night. I could see my breath and the curtains swayed in the wind.
At the moment I'm at home in a very tiny room that's a total suntrap and I get to sleep by having a fan on all night. It's much easier to cool down than it is to warm up, trust me.

I would have to disagree with that. When it is really warm there is no escape. Put a fan on, it blows warm air at you. Open a window - no breeze. Go outside - you get baked in the sun.
When its cold, you can wrap yourself in warm clothes and in something like a slanket, drink warm drinks and you're fine.

Sit in the shade. Drink cold drinks. Put your head in the fridge. Run your hands under a cold tap. Take a shower. It's not pleasant being too hot; but I think a lot of people's definition of cold maybe extends to being outside and being able to come indoors. I've lived in a flat where indoors was just as cold as outdoors, so I'd always choose hot over cold.

I've lived in a flat for ten years. During last winter I would have my fire on full blast, sitting no more than a few feet from it, be fully dressed in trousers and a jumper, have a duvet wrapped around me and would still be cold. I would take that every single day over being as warm and uncomfortable as I was during the recent warm period.

Each to their own! :laugh:
