Aw thanks guys! Appreciate it. Johnny Cash just added, timed myself an hour to do it and think it came out pretty well apart from the hand haha.

..they're excellent Jonnii..it's a while since you've posted any..the Johnny Cash one is such an iconic pose and I think the hand is fine..I always think that hands and feet are the most difficult things to draw and especially if you're a portrait/face person but you're obviously very versatile as the animal ones are great as well..well done Jonnii, you have a lovely talent...

I've sold a few and done requests (like people's kids, pets etc) but I don't sell them for much, usually a fiver or a tenner. I don't really think I'm up to standard to charge much haha.

I try to do one every day. They're only A4 sized and on rubbish printer paper with cheap pencils but hey ho. I've struggled with severe panic attacks/anxiety for a few years and drawing was the only thing that kind of used to calm me down (because you're preoccupied). But thanks to this I've passed my first year at uni doing Illustration and can't wait to go on to my second year :)

What do use to create these? I just ask cause I study fashion and we do digital fashion illustrations using kaledo and other lectra programmes. I think that's looks really cool.

The line work is just pencil on paper, I scan it in then use Gimp (free program similar to Photoshop) then literally just colour it in simply!

I would reccomend getting some sort of outlet for your work be it your own website, a blog or just a simple FB page like mine. It gives you lots of spec as to what people are interested in, the trends etc etc plus people will ask you to do some pieces for them which is always nice when they put it up in their homes or have it as a present for someone (Christmas is always a buzz for people wanting pictures drawn up!!)

I think I have a piece of work in almost every house in my street by now haha :)

Thanks Ammi, I do do it. Well, illustration/design at uni. One more year til graduation!

I'll see what I can do with Audrey, I love sketching vintage pictures with all the tones and stuff they give you.

You'd be surprised what sells these days Ryan! I was at a gallery and a guy had a work called "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree" or something like that, an undergrad student at a college somewhere.

He literally did a brown line with green dots on it as the tree, then a larger red dot on the floor being the apple. Think he got about £300 for it!

Subject matter > quality!
