Fashion trends you hate

I've a feeling this was already a thread but maybe I'm thinking of something from the little things you hate thread...

Are there any fashion trends you don't like? I have a huge list of things I hate but here are a select few...


Top buttons on shirts done up but no tie or bow-tie
Tying the cords together on hoodies and leaving the hoody unzipped
Wearing shoes without socks (Vans, boat shoes etc)
Dip dye
Shaving all your hair off bar a small landing strip on the top of your head, or worse, a ratty mullet tail
The wanker neckline. There's crew-neck, there's v-neck, and then there's "hi here are my nipples" neck.
Block fringes. Never seen a girl who looks better with a huge fringe than without (ignoring celebrities)

I hate Burberry and I hate those carrot jean things that hug your ankles at the bottom, it makes you look like a sparrow. And people who don't wear feckin belts with their jeans so their boxers are peeking at ya.

I despise them. When I lived in Germany, I was vaguely acquainted with this boy who wore them with no socks and turned up jeans EVERY time I saw him... from September right through 'til June, and I must have seen him at least once a month. Who doesn't wear socks in winter?! Mental. I think it looks so trampy.

Oh god that's awful. I'd say fair enough in the Summer, but in the Winter too?!

They just look so tacky and awful. Like, imagine if a guy wore them on this day but ten years ago. He would get ripped to shreds for having such horrible shoes.

Fair enough fashion changes throughout time in all, but they just don't look fashionable.

Yeah I think they're just plain awful... the sort of thing people will look back at in 10 years and say "what was I thinking?" just as people look back at the 90s and wonder why they had long hair, braids in their hair on holiday etc...

Also just remembered being outraged at a boy walking around my uni campus wearing a vest (he was a skinny guy as well) in November last year. Mental case. Don't understand this recent trend of guys wearing vests, especially if they aren't big gym guys. Looks stupid.
