Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden's new MGMT album is self-titled and out September 17 via Columbia Records. Their first video from the record is for "Your Life is a Lie". Directed by Tom ****z, who helmed the "Congratulations" video, it features an endless cast of eccentric characters.

I love it, it's quirky... it's no 'Time To Pretend' or 'Electric Feel' but I prefer it to anything on Congratulations.

the video's very 'classic'... and they sound like they've been listening to a lot of Tame Impala on this. It's not great but it's interesting.
