I remember looking at a pic of football and it's of Rooney after he scored a goal against one of his rivals. He's celebrating with his arms outstretched or something and you can see the crowd facing him. They all look like they want to kill him and some are making hand gestures at him, the shocking part to me was, they seem like completely normal everyday people.
So I think it's something that happens to people when they become part of a crowd, they seem to lose part of themselves and act in a way they wouldn't if by themselves.

Yep that's it mob mentality and I don't even think it matter what their background is, I feel that it would be really tough to go there and go against the crowd.
Also I tracked down that pic I mentioned

I thought they looked worse than usual tonight! Not as in the behaved badly, but literally how they looked... at one point it panned over the crowd and I actually said "Why does tonights eviction crowd look like an actual gang of hillbillies??". It was hilarious!

Love?Hate had a famous/infamous rape scene. I'm wondering if it's been cut totally from the Ch5 series.

I don't know, but I think he said the f word in the camera around then, and someone pointed it out to me how ordinary people behave towards him every time he plays.

Looking at that picture, I think "ordinary people" is a bit of a stretch
