This is the term given to children with back issues due to time spent on consoles...

Has anyone here experienced back problems?

''Orthopaedic experts say children and teenagers are being left with injuries and curvatures because of a phenomenon they have dubbed “Gameboy Back,” after too many hours hunched over addictive computer games.

Doctors say that increasing numbers of children are developing serious spinal problems, such as slipped discs, because they slump for such long periods.''

I have quite bad posture because of being on the computer/laptop all day, when I go out I have to make sure I stand properly

when I was younger I used to get stiff thumb joints from using my GB/DS too much

Nope, and I've played games for longer than I remember. Though thats probably cause my mum always told me to sit up straight or I'd grow up with a bad back.

My back's fine, but it's surprising when there was a good 2 year period when I would be slumped in front of my computer day in day out.

Maybe it'll kick in 10 or 20 years down the line...

My mum is forever criticising my posture so perhaps this is true of me too. Personally I don't think I slouch at all but she's forever nagging me so I guess I must be

"Greg take your t-shirt off

Show me your fierceness

Yeah baby!

Get that oil on

Look back over your shoulder at me as if you've been naughty"

Okay there's a slight incest theme there... :-/

I've noticed sometimes that sitting extremely 'upright' can feel amazing, it stretches something in my pelvis if I push it forward  idk though, never had any problems.
