all that fuss about training him up as a search and rescue pilot, a couple of years after qualifying and he quits because he has a 3 week old baby
pathetic
now he returns to live in London and no doubt will get a chance to get drunk and party more with the socialites
that search and rescue team should rightly be totally peed off after spening years training him up only for him to quit the moment his wife has a baby
these royals claim they want a normal life yet when offered one they throw it away
he made the usual shallow royal speech with corny lines like, rescuing is nothing compared to a 3 week old boy, oh how I didn't laugh as he patronised his subjects in the audience
no doubt he will spend the next few years collecting medals he never earned like the rest of the battenbergs

They haven't been the Battenbergs for almost a century, you'd think people would have got past that by now. And of course, Louis Mountbatten was a famous war hero. Prince Philip served in the Royal Navy during the war, the Queen was a driver in the ATS. Prince Andrew served during the Falklands conflict... and William completed his service. That's not the same as quitting.

the royals in the forces is just for pomp and tradition, and an excuse to wear some uniforms at ceremonies.
adrew is the biggest disgrace.

Andrew - as embarrassing as he is now - is one of only two of the younger Royals to have seen active service.

I would question how active that was!, I bet he had more air support than any other pilot.

He apparently did take part in the action from the front and it's been confirmed by other servicemen on HMS Invincible. God, I hate saying this because I detest Andrew... but credit where it's due.

all they do is put other soldiers and regiments in grater danger
They ought to ban cheese from the military, in that case.

Speak to anyone who either served with Prince Harry in Afghanistan, or was serving there at the same time and you'll hear quite a different story. Shiney-arsed civilians don't always have the full picture.
