Right guys, it is time for a Star Wars marathon, but first we have to figure out what order to watch them in. We have the 3 great ones that were released back when Josy was in high school, and then the 3 not so great ones that were released in the 00's.

The first option is to watch them in the order they was released, which sounds the most sensible answer to people that aren't aware of the fact that the 3 newer ones are set before the older ones in the Star Wars timeline.

So the options are to watch in chronological order and watch the 3 newer ones first because they are set before the 3 older ones in the timeline, or watch in the order they were released.

What are your thoughts on this matter?

....I guess it might be interesting to watch the prequels first just as an experiment..but I'm not sure if that would be messing around too much with nature and something really bad could happen if you did that...just to be safe I'd probably watch 4, 5 and 6 first....

Definitely watch the three that were released first, and then give the others a miss because let's face it, they're extremely disappointing. Follow up this mini-marathon with the Family Guy Star Wars episodes.

Step away from the new ones before someone gets hurt.

Look what happened when Samaras was telling Papadopoulos about his intention to watch the phantom menace, later that evening.

had to vote dunno, cos I wouldn't go for either of the other options, I would only watch the first three released and not bother with the others.

Same. Never watched Star Wars

i honestly can not even understand this. The original trilogy, especially the Empire Strikes Back, are some of the greatest story telling out there.

Chronological, seeing the prequels first give a better perspective on the original three

And I have never watched Star Wars...

go to your local store, buy the DVDs and do not move until you have watched all the original trilogy

I've never watched them either, but I think it would make sense to watch them in the order they were released?

The last 20 minutes of Episode III is the greatest film experience you'll ever have in your life

My older brother was a huge fan, I just never got into it. I know enough about the films to know what people are talking about but I have never sat down and watched the entirety of any of the films. I'm like that with a lot of pop culture though, just sort of unaware of most things.
