The http://i2.dailyrecord.co.uk/incoming/article2088945.ece/ALTERNATES/s298/Scottish-League-1-2088945.jpg
A Discussion Thread for the most interesting league in the world right now that beholds the world's most successful club Rangers and other world class teams like Dunfermline and Ayr, this is the league of the pure home talent.
Ally's domestic dominance continues following two back to back wins 4-1 and 3-0 and meanwhile the nearest rivals Ayr have also won their first two games but it is a sorry state of affairs for Lee's home town Dunfermline as they 3-2 at home to Abroath, Big money spending East Fife have also lost both of their opening games
A lovely hat trick for Super Lee today and meanwhile in this borefest of a thread there are still 3 0-0 draws http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forums/showthread.php?t=234940&page=25

Temps has been shafted from the starting XI
When do rangers play dunfy Andy?
22 goals in 5 games, Super Lee with back to back hat tricks and he was playing at Center Back today, debut goal for the big man Mohsni, Seb faure in the game of his life, Nicky Law and Lewis in midfield ripping everyone a new one, Ally bringing on Temps when we were 1-0 down and then we go onto win 5-1, life is great.
Should be a solid weekend. Good 3PM matches. Possible Banana skins for everyone bar Rangers too.
3-0 at halftime, Ally working his magic again
Did actually put money on that scoreline after your thread earlier, had better stay like that now
No I thought that would be just a bit too farfetched
you should hope Temps doesn't come on
Here he is, ready to finish it off in style
Looks like my money is safe after all
don't say i didn't warn you
Well well well, bet you didn't have that one as well eh
Temps what on earth have you done to me
suppose losing a bit of money was worth it for those 2 extra goals
it's all gone pear shaped
**** me, that goal was something else
basically the most perfect overhead kick ever

yeah because it really makes a difference what league you play in if you hit a overhead kick like that and it bangs in off the crossbar, Guzan would have fall flat on his ass like the Ayr Keeper
Says a lot about our squad now when Temps is on the Bench, a player that could cut it with a low half prem team

this is like Man City playing in the championship with their current side
difference is we didn't have a option to spend building this squad, it's made up of a free transfers, youth players, successful trialists and a couple of players, Lee Wallace and McCulloch who stuck around to get us back into the SPL.
Aird, Crawford, and Gingerbear are top players, think they would have eventually gone on to make it big even if we stayed in the SPL but now they are getting their chance earlier then expected which is even better for us and them and also Faure > Foster, Hope Ally keeps him in the team now

Macleod is now going places at Ibrox after staying put
Lindsay Herron
Friday 13 December 2013
Jimmy Sinclair, the academy director at Rangers, has expressed his pride at Lewis Macleod making his 50th first-team appearance for the Ibrox side but that sentiment is a far cry from what he feels towards the fates of two other past graduates.
They are almost out of ear-shot as it is, with Jamie Ness and Rhys McCabe both stagnating in English football.
The midfielders matured through the youth ranks at Rangers but became part of the exodus from the club in the summer of 2012 after the club went into administration. Ness chose to pack his bags for Stoke City and McCabe also made for Sheffield Wednesday.
However, far from thriving in their new environment they are now experiencing the football equivalent of Siberia; Ness has appeared in just one match for Stoke, as a substitute in a Capital One Cup tie against Swindon Town last year, while McCabe has had just two minutes of first-team action for Wednesday in the past four months.
Sinclair is sure that both of those players' careers would likely have been better served by staying at Ibrox. "I'm fairly certain that if Ness and McCabe had stayed they would be in the first team and staying there," said Sinclair. "I had faith in these young players and I can't hide that I'm still disappointed by their actions. Maybe these kids will look back and feel they made the wrong decision - but maybe not. I don't know because I don't converse with them anymore."
In contrast, Macleod has flourished in the Rangers team this season and has held on to his place despite the arrival of more experienced players. Of course, circumstances had forced Ally McCoist to dip into the academy a year ago and expedite nine players into his first team. However, it is a source of pride to Sinclair and his staff that Macleod is thriving, while Andy Little, Fraser Aird and Robbie Crawford are also key members of the squad. The coach is confident that there are more on the way.
"We think that we are doing a good job but often it is not accepted that we are," he said. "I don't think administration has made Rangers any less attractive to young players. You could say there has never been a better time to be a young player at Rangers."
What an amazing article about Gingerbear
Nothing will beat running out for Rangers when we’re back in the top flight, says Ibrox playmaker Lewis MacLeod
http://i3.dailyrecord.co.uk/incoming/article2344639.ece/ALTERNATES/s615/JS26992362-2344639.jpg
LEWIS MACLEOD imagines the moment he runs down the Ibrox tunnel in 19 months’ time to a cacophony of noise.
He can almost feel the atmosphere as the Rangers fans roar their appreciation on returning to the big time as the 2015-16 Premiership season kicks off.
It will be the ultimate dream for the diamond of the Rangers youth academy and he can’t wait to live it.
Other young Scottish players may be seduced by offers from England or abroad but the 19-year-old has only one ambition – to complete the journey of recovery and play in the top flight
with Rangers.
Macleod, who hit the milestone of 50 Rangers matches last weekend, said: “There would be nothing better than playing for Rangers that first year we are back in the Premiership. That would be magnificent.
“I can’t wait for that and also the possibility of playing in Europe. It would be the ultimate for me.
“I know young players left Rangers last year because they believed it was good for their careers but I have no thoughts about doing that.”
Macleod rubs shoulders with the country’s top talent when he is on Scotland Under-21 duty and admits to pangs of jealousy they are either playing in the Premiership or England. He has seen the rise of Andy Robertson at Dundee United, the explosion of Ryan Gauld’s precocious talent and marvelled at the scoring exploits of Stevie May.
However, the teenager will bide his time and savour the moment when as expected Rangers complete three consecutive promotions to get back to familiar surroundings.
He said: “I’m like the odd man out as the rest of the Scotland Under-21 squad are playing at a higher level every week in either the Premiership or England.
“Everyone wants to play at a higher level but I want to do it with
Rangers. Hopefully that day will come and it will be fantastic when it does.
“It’s only 18 or 19 months away, assuming all goes well. Last season flew in for me and I’m sure the next six months will go quickly so we only have a year to go after that.
“I know Andy Robertson. I played against him when he was at Celtic as a young boy.
“He was always a good player. Last year he did well for Queen’s Park but since going to United he has progressed massively and is relishing it.
“Wee Gauldie is something special. He really has something about him and Stevie May is the best finisher I’ve seen. It would be great if the gaffer could maybe bring him to us!”
Macleod, who reached the half century in last week’s 3-0 win over Ayr, is one of the major positives for Rangers out of the horror of last year’s financial meltdown although he was always tipped to make the breakthrough.

Currently on 150,990 replies, over 9 million views of the point n laff thread @ Rangers (1872-2012 RIP)/Sevco 5088/Sevco Scotland/The Rangers est 2012/The Rangers International FC.
Comedy for today to summarise (daily thing): the spivs say they sewn it up. The potless wannabees say they'll take legal action over this. In other news, Imran Ahmed (Chuck's "p*ki friend") continues with his legal action and the former goalkeeper announces he will start one!
Meanwhile, Chucky Green lives it up on the spoils in France and another £33k net loss today as a 'business' (tick tock to April), and the trading price of the shares drops to another World Record low.
This stuff knocks Eastenders to 'ell for the fun/drama/intrigue/plots/comedy value of it.

I happen to be 3 loyal hardcore members on there (WATP) who just naughtily supply ammunition/encouragement then let them rant like the Rev Ian Paisley. Spivco FC are a newco losing a mill month and still permeated by nearderthals who go along to fitba and sing illegal sectarian hatred songs for a couple of hours.

Go to Companys House and see that the 1872 is currently in liquidation. Sevco 5088 currently called The Rangers International FC hold the registration and membership of the SFA under their registration to both under their unique number.
Rangers ceased to be a member of the SFA in 2012. Their unique number is in liquidation as the listing clearly shows. It was awkward for everyone to tell the neanderthals this - they tend to threaten people or go further with death threats and bricks thru windows.

Almost fell off my seat today when the rotund Salary McCoist (£880k for winning a 'title' in the 4th tier of Scottish fitba) suggested on SSN that the Rangers International FC should be increasing their squad, not reducing it after the £14m loss - he's hilarious and can't wait to see the pee-takes on "Only an Excuse"

Yup - sounds sustainable on the 14 mill loss.
Your CE said he was gonna invoke cost cutting measures in 120 days (116 days to go). Post how that works please mate - you're only a mill a month loss away from being solvent playing posties and welders. Super
Can you not see you have a choice -
1..New world record as the bestest ever ever ever in Scotttish 3rd tier against posties n welders part time
OR
2. Survive
I have no problems saying the clone rangers will cuff East Fife - we play within our means and are shoite. We have trophies and the clone rangers are new - they ate 3rd Div champions

I do Novo - but I disbelieve DK will put £40m into the clone Rangers as that's what your club needs just to survive, not be a CL team. He'd be mad to do it.. I'm not a tic fan, just a realist - they're £200m above where you aspire to be in tier 1 of even the pishy SPFL (2 tiers above you). You are looking at Wonga loans as nobody will spend cash on the down n out TRIFC.
Explain to me how that's sustainable and how you'll turn around the £1 mill a month loss.

I asked if you were going to give us a rendition of the Billy boys because out of all the people on here you post the most on this thread which would make anyone think you were some sort of secret ultra loyal Unionist Vanguard Rangers fan instead of the obsessed bitter other team fan that you really are. The fact that you have accounts on Rangers forums specifically for baiting people says it all.
Not that there's any real need for you to post on this thread anymore, you've already destroyed it by spamming it constantly with your financial 'expertise' and claptrap about it not being the same club.

Funny that because you do know Dundee United committed almost twice as many fouls as us today... and we are the most fouled team in the whole of Scotland, at least your good for 2 things this season, ending Celtic's unbeaten record and knocking them out the cup so you can happily go on and win the double after that, comes one in a blue moon for you lot so good luck

Yeah Moshni has been awful recently, he's amazing with the fans and does the job in League 1 but he can't start next season or else we are ****ed, we needed MacLeod there yesterday to give us a chance, Surprisingly Peralta was the only good player on the Pitch,
Today was the first time I'd ever been to Ibrox before. Nice stadium. Still wouldn't fancy going to a Rangers v Aberdeen game any time in the future though.
The Aberdeen Ibrox curse keeps going on and on, it will never end
Haha :( must be a psychological thing!
I said to my dad at half time, I bet you anything we fall asleep in the second half, we got an early goal and just switched off. Pathetic display in the second half, just so much pointless switching of the field without actually running forward with the ball, defense was shocking... at least Clangers didn't make any awful mistakes, I'd say both their goals were down to the defense being shocking.

Where is Lewis? Yeh I thought Peralta worked his socks off, a lot of the time surrounded with no person showing for him but he kept on going. That Fraser Aird looked lively while he was on too. Shame he couldn't beat the first man more.
Scottish football seems to be more open now, yeah Celtic are still miles ahead in the league but as for domestic cups the rest of the best seem to be getting the upper hand, think the league next season will b closer if Butcher can get who he wants at Hibs, and Dundee United and Aberdeen can keep key players around and add a few, if Commons goes then Celtic will struggle attacking wise

Had a common virus which affected his heart muscles so he's out until the Doctors say he can 100% play again, which could be ages with all the tests.. Yeah that's the problem with Aird he's all pace and no end product
I know this is the Rangers thread and you're a Rangers fan so what I'm about to say is probably the most offensive thing in the world  but I think Rangers being kicked out of the league was the best thing to happen to the SPL. Obviously they'll be back up by the 2015/2016 season and will probably be contending for top two as always but I think it's really opened the league up and the standard of play has increased so much in their absence. It would've been the same if it had been Celtic and not Rangers so it's not like it's personally against them or anything.

Well it hasnt opened up the league as far as the title goes because Celtic are still miles ahead of the rest so in that regard its boring but cup wise it has become more unpredictable and the race for 2nd place and Europa league spot has become open, but neautrals don't really care about the SPL anymore without Rangers there and finiaclly it has been hit hard, Hearts are ****ed and 3 or 4 other clubs look to be heading in that direction as well, in fact the Championship is probably going to be more interesting then the SPL next season now with Rangers, Hearts, Raith, Livingston, Dundee, Hamilton etc in there, Scotland will always need Rangers and Celtic though, imagine the league surviving with Hearts and Hibs being the biggest match of the year lol and they haven't even got that next season...
