1 in 5 has had a bad time with fat people of flights
This was debated on ITV1HD Daybreak.
With Sam Black and a very large women.
I think its only fair
Put a Scale they must stand on
before they get on the flight.

Fair enough, then give them bigger seats if they are paying extra.
Bah that doesn't bother me it's crying little kids that bother me.
They should have a separate plane with a big flipping crèche in it, that would solve all my troubles.
I dunno how I feel about this really - fat tax is a pretty harsh term because it only takes into account morbidly obese people... whereas if you get someone who's 7ft tall, they are generally also going to be really large in size, and need to take up two seats because they're just so big. It's not fair to do that to someone.

If someone uses 2 seats, its only fair that they pay for both seats.
The OP reads as if even if they only needed one they would still be charged more for being heavier though, is this right?

If someone uses two seats at the moment they have to pay for it I think, so I assume this would be based on one seat and if you are overweight you pay more. Not really sure what I think about it tbh, what about if you are underweight, should you pay less?

OK. Totally disagree with it in that case

Yes it would be over a set weight
BA would allow more than Ryan Air etc.
It uses more fuel to fly with loads of Fats on board

:suspect: what about a plane load of skinnies? are they going to get a discount as they will use less fuel?
Jesus.

They should also have trombone noises on board that automatically kick into action when they walk around the plane.
