When your contact lens tears or something gets on it while it's in your eye, oh my God the pain!

When you're talking and you accidentally spit on someone a little bit and you're both too awkward to acknowledge it and the other person politely pretends to scratch their face or something to get rid of your spit and you just watch wishing you could disappear and die

When you're eating cereal in the morning but you're not particularly hungry and it goes all soggy and mushy and becomes totally unappealing

Getting a cut under your fingernail

Being assaulted on your birthday :bored:

Really liking someone who likes you too but both of you are too scared to initiate anything even though it's really obvious that both of you want the other one to make the first move

When you accidentally scuff your tire against the kerb and you've no idea if you've damaged the wheel or not

That groggy feeling if you've done an all nighter and you get to about 11am and start to spiral into tiredness

Carrying shopping that's just a little bit too heavy and you keep having to stop to put it down because it's cutting into your fingers

Not having access to a toothbrush and having 'furry teeth'

When your alarm doesn't wake you up and it's either because you've slept through it; it hasn't gone off because it's broken or because you've woken up before your alarm and that moment of sheer panic that you're disasterously late for something

Hitting your head off a shelf corner or something similar

The winter months when you get up and it's dark, you leave work/school/uni and it's dark and you feel like a nightcrawler who doesn't get to see daylight

January 1st, knowing that the next 'exciting day' isn't until Valentine's Day which depending on your love life could either be wholly depressing or something to look forward to
