The X Factor will reportedly introduce a new voting system during the live shows this year.
As part of a revamp of the ITV talent show, Saturday nights will see fans being able to vote for their favourite acts in a "flash vote".
Viewers will have 200 seconds to phone for their chosen singers after they have all performed, according to The Sun.
Dermot O'Leary will then reveal who has received the lowest number of votes, and they will be up for the elimination on Sunday's show.
Fans will then vote again for Sunday's live show with the lowest-scoring act joining the one from Saturday.
If the judges' vote goes to Deadlock, the act who received the fewest votes on Saturday will depart the show.
The voting system would be part of a number of changes to this year's run, including the judges being told of their categories before the Boot Camp stage.
The X Factor will launch on August 31 on ITV.
