What Makes a Successful Housemate?

Didn't see a thread like this so thought I'd start one.

What matters to you in a housemate and what do you think makes them successful? What do you like to see in a housemate? Which type do you hope to see each year?

For me I personally love loud, controversial, interesting housemates who are good to watch. Give me housemates such as Makosi, Nikki, Charley and Bea over Anthony, Pete, Brian and Sophie anyday.
