Glad to see he was as unimpressed with her drunken ramblings as I was!

I think it is Sophie who could do with a bit of counselling.........

She's a moron.

Come out of your shell - will you do it for me?...

Why she thinks Abz would do anything for her is beyond me...A completely moronic thing to say to him. Like meeting her would hold any significance for Abz - What is she..? An epiphany creator..?

It's often the case that people who have succumbed to addiction themselves, strangely think they're the ones to counsel and advise others.

It was a nice little motivational chat, wow this woman can't do right for doing wrong can she?
Maybe it would be better if she was rude and obnoxious to everyone you get better thought of it seems...
Passing on experiences and positivity was a plus I thought?

Strangely many ex addicts go on to become counsellors as they can draw on their experiences, it's not uncommon.

It was a drunken rambling load of words, hardly motivational!

It was well-intended but he was a little uncomfortable with it.

He has Aspergers remember? :joker:

Does that make him a candidate for a rambling, drunken, "motivational" onslaught?

She was nice to him... saying nice things.
Why is that so bad?
Maybe she should have told him to foff or punched him in the nads or something?.....

Maybe she should have kept her mouth shut and gone to bed to sleep off the alcohol?

Edit: But then, of course, she wouldn't have been "entertaining".

She was so patronising it was getting on my nerves. :bored:

Yes unless you're getting your baps out, screaming abuse at people or bitching you should just shut the eff up eh?

Sophie is the expert on everything, her specialist subject, addiction. She had claimed to have been 4 years clean of drugs AND alcohol, hadn't she? She is always keen to "lecture" whoever she traps under the guise of compassion or friendliness. God forbid if the victim tries to interrupt. He was very polite, is all I can say. St. Sophie usually lasts a short time. The entertainment begins when her halo collapses. She's a nasty piece of work.

Counselling , unfortunately for Sophie, involves too much pesky listening.
