It isn't really scary to be honest with you but it is good, I went to see it last night and it's really, really good though. I can't say much without ruining it but it gripped me and left me guessing all the way through.

Really, REALLY good death scenes too, deserves its 18 - I'm just lucky the cinema we go to doesnt really care enough to check for ID, they just want money lol

..The Strangers freaked me out as well, it's so much more frightening when people wear masks because then there's no emotion at all, which is really disturbing with the things they did..

It's explained as to why they have no mobile signal in the movie to be fair, that 'no signal' stuff irritates me in horror too but it is fairly explained and believable in this

I wouldn't say that Roy, I'd say it's getting stronger lately especially with the long overdue death of the Saw series. Evil Dead and The Conjuring spring to mind when it comes to good recent Horror films.

I knew what was going on within the first 10/15 minutes of it starting and some of the dialogue between the characters was actually laughable.

Loved it.

You cant take horror to seriously if you go in and expect to **** your pants you're never going to be impressed as we have pretty much seen it all now.

Just take it for what it is and measure it up against the rest of the genre.

The thing that pissed me off so much was when all the teens were saying The Cabin In The Woods was crap just because it was comedic....They obviously haven't got the brain capacity to understand a horror film can also be horrifying/ingenious and totally over the top whilst being ridiculous.

Drag Me To Hell is a perfect example, some epic gross out moments that are laugh out loud funny but horrifying to think about at the same time.
