We've had them for a day or two now and they're always too fast to catch. :bored:
How do you get rid of them?

Well, I let the spiders stay and they eat them.

I never heard of that before, I looked it up and it seems like a pretty cool natural bug repellent.

Same, we never bother to get rid of spiders or kill them.
Sounds stupid but fill a clear bag with water and tie it up near the window or the door that they are coming in through..
Like I said sounds stupid but it works.
Or buy those manky sticky things that catches them (they are revolting though)

we had this problem and they had laid some eggs in the bin the cheeky bastards and it was like a never ending supply of flies until we finally found where they were coming from, but yeah you might have some eggs somewhere

Lol I was just about to post that - I got mine on a trip to France - they are awesome. If we don't use that our dogs are very good at catching and eating flies :)

Reece, I don't see what good a penis pump is going to do... flies aren't impressed by size.

when we lived in Spain we used to get loads of flies and my husband used to drive me nuts, he was always walking round the ruddy house with one of those zap bats you just mentioned, I used to think it was cruel to kill them like that. I remember I used to shout 'for gawds sake put that ruddy bat down before I zap you with it' LOL

Flies dislike lavender and lemon scents.

Thanks for the replies. Josy's suggestion was actually quite helpful as they did seem to be crowding around the door/wall area. Let's just hope they don't come back...

Flies aren't really a problem in my house... for me, it's mainly moths.

One of the funniest things ever is when there is a spider or some kind of bug in my house, my cat will spend hours hunting it down and taunting it :joker:

Aw my dog did that once, there was a spider and he kept licking it into his mouth and spitting it out each time with one leg less... It was just a dot in the end :(
I felt really guilty for weeks about that as I drew his attention to it.

If you want a way to kill flies without buying extra **** or hanging bags of water around your house, just get a spray you have lying around, deodorant etc and spray it at them. Kills them instantly.
