Inspired by a post Josy made in another thread.

Were you a model student or did you hate school so much you couldn't be bothered with it?

Kind of in between, I always got quite good results but I did get into a fair bit of trouble for a while, nothing serious really just persistent messing about and annoying the teachers, espeically in subjects I wasn't very interested in like maths/science or the ones I thought were a bit pointless like RE. Settled down quite a bit when I got to sixth form though and did well while getting on with all my teachers and stuff

Currently at sixth form, which I'm a good student, school I couldn't be arsed with though, I mean like Art/Drama and **** subjects like that, none of us cared about that and were all rude to those teachers

A nightmare. Dozed off during every lesson, got myself into too much trouble and my attendance was poor. Saw it as more of a time to mess around with friends than actually get on with work. Hated it loads but looking back on it i miss it loads too.

I've just left, German was fun. We just stuck pictures all round his room and I put a picture of Nigella Lawson in his fridge and threw a condom on his floor. Most of the time I was alright though, I only pissed around in certain lessons

I was terrible, got suspended all the time and got kicked out of so many classes, but still passed any exams that were thrown at me, I was so disrespectful, had no respect for authority. I used to disrupt peoples learning all the time too, which makes me feel so guilty, I couldn't really control myself though, I had that attitude towards school ever since I started and I could never shake it. It was only about a year after I graduated that I realised what a terror I was.

I had a terrible attitude at school, I actually was good at all of my subjects and I was in credit top for all of them apart from Maths but I just hated going, my parents used to struggle to get me to attend and even then I used to go in to my morning registration class and then leave via the back doors.

I only went to sign the register because my mum would phone to check I turned up and they would check that and tell her yes she's signed in.

Also when I had to eventually stop truanting I just started being horrible to the teachers and carrying on and stuff instead of doing any work so was always suspended then eventually expelled.

Well to be honest, I'm known for all the wrong reasons :joker:
With some teachers I can be quite confrontational sometimes, especially those I don't like and definitely the supply teachers who treat the "bad kids" differently which happens literally everyday in my school.

I remember one situation where a few year sevens were sharing a changing room with my Drama class (year tens) and someone took a load of stuff out of my friends bags such as mobile phones, accessories and strangely my friends sandwiches, and I posted on facebook that they were "little *****", and I got isolated for it.

My school don't really care about privacy rules regarding social networking and they will rummage through your feeds without taking on board what you're actually saying. And I like to make that clear when they have a go at me :D

An absolute nightmare for the most part. I did well academically but can remember those countless times I was thrown out of the class and going through this retarded teenage 'my teachers are, lyk, totally unfair' phase.

A lad kept winding my friend up and he was turned around and I whacked him on his back with a Wicket...

I am actually the least intimidating person at school but he didn't say anything to my friend after that :D

At school I did decent but was more bothered about banter and pissing about with my friends. Got sent out now and again for talking over teachers. Was a prefect in my last year so got much more stuck in with the work then.

Now at college, I'm definitely more work orientated but do love a good chat.

Since this is my thread I'm going to share with you a few things I did whilst at school.

Primary School

- Attacked one of my teachers because she wouldn't let me use a pen when everyone else was allowed to.
- Ransacked the headteachers office in a rage when my parents were called to pick me up after aforementioned attack which included ramming paper into a lit fire in the hope it would catch the office on fire.
- The teacher I attacked ended up leaving because she couldn't cope with a student of my nature.
-Climbed out of a window on Sports Day after telling a teacher to **** off
- Smashed a workmans van window

Secondary School

- Turned on the gas in the science lab and left the room (although quickly turned them off)
-cut phone lines in the reception
- set fire to books from the library, including a bible
- general ****ing around in class

Comprehensive

- More ****ing around
- Smoking and drinking
- Truanting

I mellowed out once I hit the last few years of school

..I was quiet, always part of a small group of 5/6 close friends..not very 'savvy' about things so quite often was teased but I wouldn't say in a 'bullying way'...not very confident at all although my friends believed in me and were kind...just a small irrelevant story but I was brought up to believe that vanity was a dreadful thing and when I was around 15yrs and started experimenting a bit with make-up/mascara..someone at school said to me 'your eyelashes are hugely long'...I didn't know whether that was a bad thing so when I got home I cut them all off..it looked a bit weird..anyway, they grew back and even longer and I know now obviously that's quite a nice thing..so I guess everything has a positive....true story...

I was a bit of a joker at school...I went to a Grammar school but on a scholarship and so there was a bit of a divide between those with money and those without. Non-uniform day was tough, the rich girls would be there head to toe in designer gear whilst we have regular high street clothes.... I got in trouble a fair bit for messing around and I set the fire alarm off once which earned me a trip to the Fire Station to apologise...

I was fairly popular though and was school games captain, playing netball and rounders...hockey was not my game and I was actively discouraged from playing it after knocking one of opposing teams from tooth out (purely accidental)

I was always pretty good in school, but I went to a school where the teachers were forced to get us good grades, so even the least academic in the classes came through with top notch GCSE/A-level results.

All parents had direct access by phone to every teacher, so they would save themselves hassle by just doing the outline and telling us what to write.

Bucking the trend... I was a model pupil at school  well behaved, well liked, good grades... and at the end of 6th year, I won a trophy for "sixth year's sixth year" as voted for by everyone in my year... good times. I don't miss school though. I had a really great school, while I'm sure some bullying must have gone on, I don't think there was anything beyond people smirking to make another person uncomfortable... it was weird how calm a place it was. Quite a few of the teachers were involved in scandals in the last two years I was there though; in a short space of time there was a guy fired for watching porn, a student exchange PE teacher from Australia sent home to Australia because he was texting 2nd year girls, my form teacher got fired for getting drunk on a school trip, my replacement form teacher was taken to court by another member of staff because he allegedly locked her in a cupboard, the heads of the history and geography department had an affair and left their respective families, all of the old guard English staff quit and were replaced by young women and my teacher left half way through the year because "those silly bitches want to replace Shakespeare with Harry Potter!!" (she genuinely said that to us the week before she disappeared...) etc... So yeah, the pupils were totally normal, the teachers were basket cases!

I loved my middle school, had some great teachers, could be strict but also fun. I was quite sporty & did a lot of after school sports as well so didnt get detention if i had forgotten my homework lol
I enjoyed High school, witnessed a couple of proper fist fights between a pupil & a teacher. I just got on with my work & did my sports, i was fairly quiet but would stand up for myself if needed even if it was a teacher.

I detested the place!! I ****ed up 5th year by skiving every day.. I'd go into school, meet my friends and talk them into spending the day in town with me.

6th year was alright.. The social life was excellent and I managed to stick in and get my highers :)

Actually, I don't know why I said I had a low profile last page because im usually bursting with personality :joker: But yeah, even though there is huge pricks, there's some good times and some surreal times. One of them being the time 2 Year 7s fought each other. Us being Year 8s, some decided to encourage it, but me and my friend just watched from the classroom window trying to be discreet. I know what you're saying, "Fights happen all the time!" But you see, My school is a SUPER strict private school. These two Year 7s where going at it, throwing tubs of pens at each other, literally tearing the classroom apart. Everyone thought someone had told so we all thought It was going to be okay.... until we found out No one had told.

The next day, it Was all fine, until Headmaster showed up and asked for a classmate who had encouraged the fight...

They comeback panicking, telling us we need to go to the library after class.

We were all locked in and were told off. Severely,The next lesson, no one could do work because we were all choking back tears.

Can't wait to start Year 9 where I am starting my GCSEs.

Horrible until 5th year then I became a good pupil purely because my guidance teacher told me I'd be a failure so I had to prove them wrong! Now though I'm a very hard worker and I'm very hard on myself if I get anything less than top marks in things.

I went to a grammar school, but mainly because I was hard working, not smart, so I struggled a bit in terms of keeping up. Eventually I gave up trying because I didn't really see the point, so I just focused on subjects I was decent at (Music, Art & Drama, the holy trinity) and half-assed the rest.

I was sort of popular to start, but then I realised the popular people were generally just awful so I hung out with my beloved fat nerds and I'e never looked back  otherwise I was quiet, not disruptive and got involved with extra-curricular stuff too (mainly involving music, but I was an additional needs prefect also) so yeah, I was alright really tbqfh

I was a horror. Had the cane 3 times. Always on detention. Smoked whilst doing detention. Sometimes didn't turn up for detention. Wagged lessons. Gave the teachers lip (along with others), so much so, our French teacher would not teach us any more, and instead we had to be taught by the headmaster. I once stole an exam paper during the mock exams, but got found out on the morning of the exam, and the paper was changed. The only time I excelled at school was through Computer Studies and Badminton as they were the only subjects I ever really enjoyed.

Of course it was wrong of me kids and wasn't cool.
