This is massive news that's only just been conveyed to me

after 13 years and 2 children and about 8 homes worldwide too? after hes fought past throat cancer and shes fought depression...very sad news

Id like to think theyd get back together and its maybe a trial separation, but it seems they've been unhappy for a while

Michael Douglas has denied any "crisis" in his marriage to Catherine Zeta-Jones, and says the pair are just having a "temporary separation".

The Hollywood actor was questioned by reporters while promoting his Liberace film "Behind the Candelabra" at its premiere in the German capital Berlin

Asked about the split, he replied: "I have a crisis at home? No I think the press has a crisis. We are fine. My wife and I are fine.

"We take a temporary separation but the press, it gives you stuff to write about."

Douglas, 68, and Welsh-born Zeta-Jones, 43, were married in 2000, and have two children.

They were last photographed together in April.

Zeta-Jones' publicist, Cece Yorke, said last week they were "taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage".

Douglas battled throat cancer in 2010 and made headlines this summer when he reportedly said it was caused by performing oral sex.

He later said he was discussing what causes oral cancer, which can be contracted through a sexually transmitted disease, but was not talking about his own illness.

His next film is the comedy Last Vegas, co-starring Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, and Kevin Kline, about four best friends in their late 60s who decide to escape retirement by throwing a Las Vegas bachelor party

I think personality wise she doesn't seem quite so interesting or interested a person as him. hes a profoundly talented intelligent person . which for an actor is rare.
